I do this, but using a thick hardcover book and a plastic CD cover. It's amazing how much tonal content can come from those two items.

I love "Aja" and hope to post something off of it in the future but unfortunately I haven't had much time to play for the past few months. Life keeps getting in the way of having fun!

@DancingSpiderman Lol! I'm just some anonymous guy playing in his basement trying to get a fix for his mid-life music crisis! I was self-taught at the advanced age of 18 and after literally not picking up a pair of sticks for 21+ years I'm happy just to get through a song without completely embarrasing myself. It's pretty humbling seeing all of the great talent and outstanding drummers on the Tube. For me it's mainly about having a little bit of fun and celebrating my lifelong love of music!

Really Impressive. You have actually plussed a Dan-song. And a great Dan song at that. I think what yaarge2 says is true: You bring vibrant light to Porcaro's original fills. No small feat (no pun intended on Lowell George)!--Not many people will ever be able to do that. Kudos!
