Well man,i Preffer using the Corvette,its good in handling,have a lot of accelaration and can go in a speed of 320 KM/H verry easy.

And yes,you can have such accelaration in the Corvette as the Viper,just buy the engine upgrades to type aceleration but listen,if you want it a race car,that don't make drift all the time in the corvette use Grip Tires,and also,don't put all the engines parts as aceleration,use speed parts too,so in that way the car can run in hight speed

i beat him with mucielago, which is kinda challenging, but thats the fun of it i guess. care im not a real pro, i find the stearing of the SRT10 too annoying so never drive it, but this guy, pretty fucking awesome man. i never managed to overtake darius, pushed him of the road once though, never laughed so hard by a videogame.

well, every muscle car has it's own power, I pass darius in the first turn using murcielago... just need one change,, all of the tune must rise it to the end,, but, transmission just change it to acceleration in one or two bar,, you'll get it....

here's how

tune it to have race package of everything make sure it's acceleration goes past the end of the bar

then just watch yourself shoot pass him, brake on the corner down to 50mph then shoot off again (make sure when you brake you do it so that he can't get past you and crashes into your FRONT) don't brake when coming to the barrier you will finish before you would fall off the cliff, but you still need to turn

@apple4zebra id a headache too. i bought the muicealago in my first career but it was hard to beat Darius, then in my second career i actually bought the ford GT. it suffers from massive under-steer but if you set the tires to DRIFT setting it flys through the canyon duels. hope it helps

i highly recommend the gallardo with racing transmittion brakes and supercharger because it is so easy. Annoyingly i got all the way to darius canyon and fell of the edge, pressed continue instead of restart and i had to go all the way back to the kenji, wolf and the other bitch canyon race. Damn. I think it is only the ps2 that does that.

I use it... Well, handling stat may look good, but this car is kinda difficult to handle, because it slides too much compared to other cars.

@pRopaaNS it does slide a little, but i use that to my advantage. i overdrive the car into the corner, it drifts out on it's own, and i get a ton of exit speed. so it takes some time to get it, but i end up using little to no brake when i have to drive. thats why i buy tires before the engine. fully upgraded, it drives like a dream. so to XeBiSe777, mercedes owns the the viper.

I love how it doesn't actually give you his car when you beat him. Not to customize anyway. You get 2 separate Audi R8s in the custom cars section for quick race. You get the red, black, and silver one that Darius drove and a plain white one. I like being able to customize the cars I earn on this game so I call Bullshit
