News surrounding Jack Ruby and his shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald

The interview with the detective is presumably the same day so why is he so adamant that Oswald and Ruby never knew each other? It's really strange for a policeman to be so categorical.

@Bazanadu The Dallas police were trying to cover up their total security fuck up with Oswald's transfer. No one from the public should have known when he was going to moved and their should have only been local police and FBI in the building. And yet all the tv crews were there ready to catch the moment he was shot.

@mooneepondskid I'm not sure how that is relevant. I don't see how it could be. Besides, the camera crews WERE there- they filmed it all- live- there was security up and down the street - it was obvious.
