  • too relaxed...to natural...crosstroads deal with the devil...lol

  • I saw Mr. Martin perform & alsoFrank Sinatra in White Plains, NY.when I was 19. I was introduced to Mr. Martin & all I .could utter was: "Hello, Mr. Martin". He was so down to earth. Sinatra came in by helicopter & Mr. Martin drove himself. Mr. Martin is a beautiful man with a beautiful voice. Love the video. Thank you for posting.

  • @raymonddonna you are so lucky..

  • why are people always starting to argue here on YT? just listen to the nice music, relax and enjoy!

  • @MrKeys57 I agree with you!

  • @MrKeys57 yes ! dean is the number one for me

  • Dino gave us his best singing when Sinatra wasn't around. Unfortunately, this wasn't one if those times.

  • Elvis adored Dino. It was he who first called Dino the King of Cool ( which he will always be). Before Elvis got to know Dean well he used to drive to Deans house and park outside it so he could be (his words) " In the presence of greatness". He would sit there for ages, just breathing it in. Elvis said Dino was his biggest influence and in his earlier stuff you can hear that.

  • Why are some of you assholes arguing who is better Elvis or Dean why can't you ignorant jackasses who love to argue just accept the fact that there are "different" styles...WHY? because you are losers who will achieve nothing in your own nothing lives, have to live vicariously through someone else's life and insult others...get an education and a life

  • @TheSteverino1

I agree, same goes with anyone who insults any of these.

  • thanks for the clip; he's still the king of cool; always loved him

  • dean martin is the only singer i have ever heard NEVER go off tune i mean seriously he is unbelievable and seeing as people think his drunk all the time goes to show how good he was a t acting aswell.. amazing!

  • Love it!

  • This is a great clip. Thanks for the post. Dino will always be the King of Cool and one of the best all around performers ever!!!!!

  • Awsome, simply Awsome. We miss you, Mr. Martin. We miss your class & talent,

    imo,.

  • For you...

  • I think Dean Martin was a better person and singer than Frank Sinatra. I know they were great friends and had a lot of fun. I Love Mr. Martin the best.

  • .....due pazzi .....non recitavano .....si divertiv ano ad essere se stessi sul palcoscenico. .........two nice crazy lucky fellas ...........they don't played at all the anly have been them selves .....

  • dean is the best singer there is but he did not give his all. his friends said that he had much more talent than he let on

  • Don´t mix things up!

Elvis was a better technicly singer then Dino

    BUT, Dino was a CROONER!

And crooners sing different then other singers. They have a certain kind of singingstyle.

Not based on singing extremly beautiful...but singing in a more relaxed and laid back way!

They don´t really give you everything theire voices can come up with.

    Get the point?

Crooning is a totally different singingstyle then the way Elvis sung!

  • callern are you mad i dont rate frank that much his voice is normal . he didnt have any little bits that made you swoon . tinny i would call it and sometimes he was almost talking not singing .

  • Dude, you've got it wrong. First of all Sinatra was the voice, he's the guy with the timing, and thats beatuful. Then we have Dean, Dean was more of a comidian, an entertainer, hes strenght was in that, not he's voice, tho hes not a bad singer. If u watch the rest of this clip witch i will link, u can see that. And then Elvis is dragged in? You cant compare a saloon singer to a loverboy? Ok, Elvis was good at what he did, but you dont compare an apple with an orange.

  • Compare this version to Elvis Aloha version, infackt compare anything to Elvis before you say anything, let the verions of Elvis play right after any verion of others and then talk. Start with this version.

  • Dean had a much better voice than Elvis,Elvis was so popular because of his looks and glittering stuff he was wearing;

Dean was simple, just him self.

  • Dean is the best!

  • the bit right b4 this is hilarious!!! the video of it was deleted but cant complain still a great video!! :D

  • Liberache dont forget

  • RonaldooOOOO........kkkk

  • Sammy Davis was the most talented guy out of all the names mentioned..but not the greatest voice.Lovely guy who conquered a lot of prejudices too ....

  • What DVD ist his from? Or where is this?

  • Comment removed

  • elvis was a fan of dean martin and dean is an awesome talent. but elvis conquered them all. and still holds the alltime attendance records in vegas. everyone came to vegas to see the king do 3 shows a night there isnt an act now that can equal his talent oor his vocal excellence.

  • i love all youve mentioned and place them far above Elvis....but are you fucking crazy??? Elvis mediocre? Elvis mediocre voice? You are truly a dumb ass and should not post anything goint forward.

  • You are good at cutting down people! Very SAD!!!

  • @450984

    @450984

Are you sick in the head? He didn't had any mental problems or alcohol addiction, And you are comparing him with those who are already surpassed by him, Know your topic, retard.

  • @450984

Why i should learn to read or write? Fuckhead, Junkie means who is addicted to Heroin, He never took one, and He died in bathroom so? Once again, Know your topic, No wonder why everyone hates you here.

  • @450984

Well, you can't even backup at least one thing you said, And why are you so scared?

At least you should reply me when you are talking, you are replying yourself.

  • @UJ00UJ I told you, no more talking, play with the keyboard yourself!

  • Dean Martin is the greatest all time entertainer. He could sing, dance, act (both comedic and dram) and was a good looking guy. Combine all that and he is number 1.

  • Elvis is and will always be the king of music .. He had it all very Handsome , sexy , Elagent and had the greatest voice.. when Elvis was Alive all of thoses guys were dead ducks.. no one could put a great show loike The king....

  • what happened with the 1987 videos????????

  • Thanks birgitta for this posting,

csibarr you are spot on! I`m 65 and seen a bit of this world. I`ve never met ANYONE who didn`t like Dino. I saw the Rat Pack Show in London. When "Frank" introduced "Dean" people were standing and clapping BEFORE HE CAME ON STAGE! But you felt with Dean he was the guy next door with whom you could share a 6-pack and just shoot the breeze.

  • Nobody is better than anyone else, Frank Sinatra regardless. Dean Martin was great in his own way, Frank Sinsatra was great in his own way, Elvis too.

But I don't care if you like any of these guys or not-the bottom line is that nobody is better than anybody else, in ANYTHING.

  • What a pure voice!! Thanks Dino

  • I miss Dean....

  • Thanks Dino for your permormanse.

  • thanks.. i miss the guy too. he surely made it a better world..

  • what year was this done?

was this his last concert.. back together again

  • no this was 1977 at westchester , ny.

  • One of my favourite songs, plus stage presence. Brilliant stuff!

  • Elvis was the king. His fandom and record speeks for it's self. Dean was the king of cool. He was so calm and smooth, a true nateral. Frank was the man at one time. He still is The Chairmen of the Board. All were great and will never be matched. Compairing them is a wast of time. Apples and oranges...PEACE

  • @DanielHawthorne hail King Elvis... Dean looks a bit pissed here (no disrespect to his fans)

  • Listen, Elvis and Dean Martin don't compare, Dean Martin was also better than Frank Sinatra I might add.

  • @JLPartner he was much more in touch with his audience. He never ever thought himself as better than anyone else...

  • Dean was good, but he was not better than sinatra, even dean himself new that.

  • @JLPartner Finally, someone who has the same conclusion: Dean Martin Martin better than Frank Sinatra - as a singer and actor.

  • This video like all the other Dean Martin ones this is a Priceless Classic!!

  • Maybe past his prime but some of us should be this good at his age in this clip, 60 years old and still a handsome, sexy, velvety voiced son of a gun. I think he got to be like a fine old wine, to sit back and savor. and to easterboc, LOL I agree 100%

  • supersupersuper

  • "The coolest of the cool" THAT is THE definitive statement of the one & only Dino !

  • Elvis couldn't compare to dean on his best drug-free day! -(NEVER!)

  • I don't quite get when he's measuring the length of the cable... Still a beautiful performance featuring Frankie.

  • thank you ---------- great as always

  • NO, Dino was the megastar!!

  • I love them both!!!

  • elvis got much of his style from dean, besides dean is way passed his prime here.

  • True elvis did state that to but i love elvis just as much as dean elvis was an incredible performer just like dean

  • That Dino stuff would nearly warm you up on a cold winter,s night when you,ve just run out of heating oil because of the price of the shit.

  • Love this guy...so many memories from the day. I wish I could relive every second!

  • The best there ever was, the best there ever will be...

  • Dean martin..the coolest of the cool what a great singer and performer...God Bless him..

  • He rocks.

  • Dean was the best. I still watch his variety show on my tapes.

  • Dino rocks

  • NO NO WAY DEAN SINGS IT BETTER

  • check out the other Dean Martin version. In this video he has aged. There are about 3 other versions of this song in video and youtube.

  • pure class

  • Hearing his velvet voice bring a smile & warms my heart~~

  • Go Dino. The King of Cool will alwys be remembered.

  • Entertainers....they just dont make'm like this anymore!HE WAS SOOOOOO SMOOOOTH!we miss ya Dino! gone but will never be forgotten!

  • You are write!

  • Oh my God I miss this man soooo much. I hate how depressed I get when I hear this song. He was the greatest entertainer to ever live. If you ask me. Thank you for posting

  • dino we miss you..what a centilman what a voice

  • No one sings this song better than Dino and Elvis and Eddy Arnold

  • MARVELOUS! MARVELOUS! MARVELOUS! Thanks for the posting!

  • its deam never come s back like this dean martin u are still in life with this songs

  • Great video and what a moment in time!

    YEAH~!

  • Sahnedeki duruş, yorum, mimikler... böylesi dünyaya bir kez daha gelmez. keşke alkol ve sigarayı biraz az kullansaydı da engelbert humperdinck gibi 70 inde bile my way i bağıra bağıra söyleyebilecek gücü kendisinde bulabilseydi.

  • i have this concert. it is available on bootleg. the quality is ok but who cares i wanted it anyway. you have to search for it on line. this concert was at Westchester. NY in 1977 and was done as a favor to the mob. a good part of this concert is when a woman yells to dino that she would leave her husband for him, and dino responds ," but i dont want your husband", if you leave him, i'll leave him". those were times when women loved and respected men.real men.

  • Donde esta el video para bajarselo entero?

  • Live at the Sabre Room, Chicago, June 7, 1977.

  • i've got this illegal it's at weschester premier theater

  • Really. They hit Westchester, I think, after Chicago. I have an audio CD, Live at the Sabre Room, and this video clip seemed spot on. But it also seems reasonable that they recorded the Westchester show as well. Hey, where can one find stuff like that? Like the Villa Venice recording used to be bootleg, then they released it. Thanks.

  • Hi deanmartin1066,

Thnx for your reaction. I know it cause a friendin of mine is the bigist dean martin fan here in Holland (I'm the second :-) )She has sometimes personal contact with the Martin family en had also with greg garrisson. The setting is just like uou said much like sabre room. What a version of Brother can you spare a dime huh? at that numbered cd. But you can trust me this is realy Weschester. But it doesn't realy matter at all :-) Dean was the coolest wherever he played.

  • Hi presley,

Very cool. Yes, "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime" is a thrill. Dino could belt them out with the best when he wanted to. But like he said, if you want to hear me sing serious buy an albium. I have a 3 CD set from England that I found many years ago and it has a performance at MGM Grand from around 74. Dean had a cold but went on. Cheers and thanks again for the great posts. John in Denver, Colorado.

  • what is the name of the cd? if you don't mind me asking. thanks a bunch!! :D

  • cd on which "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime" song is in. thanks again.

  • damn,he`s smooooth!!!

  • NO ONE BUT NO ONE CAN SING THIS BETTER THAN DINO!!

My Favourite of many many favourites.!

  • you can born again PLEASE..we need your voice and movies..WE LOVE YOU man like man..respect from istanbul..

  • Welcome to my World! What a classic song - I love singing it also!

  • Frank and Dino could really play an audience.

  • oh how cute.... like it!!

  • Did Dino dye his hair?

  • what can i say this man is a legend fantastic no words to describe dino will live forever in my heart

  • I sang this song today in a Show in Neath, Wales (UK) - great stuff from Dino!

  • Dean was the king of variety shows, and when Frank was with him, it was extra special! Anne

  • He still had grace and style..

  • he banged Inger stevens. not bad dean

  • beautiful song by a beautiful man--an icon

  • haha love the sinatra quotes in the background

  • he was the coolest cat on the planet.nobody today could match dino.

  • Exactly Dean was the one

  • pure class class class

  • Thanks for uploading! do you have more clips from this concert?

  • Tihis guy sould be alive. That makes me cry. Thaks, obrigado.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen... the one and only, Dean Martin!

  • Thanks birgitta. great! Vallyjayne

  • Great!

  • FUCK FUCK FUCK I CAN NOT EXPRESS WHAT I FEEL WHEN I SEE THIS. iT JUST MAKES ME CRY OF HAPINESS.

  • fuck fuck fuck ive just played this 6 times and it sounds better every time

  • this was his best song, for my money. just suited to his voice.

  • That's all true, JustGabriel, ... but I think "Cannonball Run 2" was the real culprit. kidding. :)

  • This was 1977, and Deans health began to deteriorate rapidly from here due to back problems and teeth problems, then the death of Dino Jr 1987 was the final straw, thats why he looks as he does in the 1988 reunion tour which he did drop out of in chicago.

  • He's 60 here, and at a couple of angles, he looks like the 30 year old who started with Jerry. I LOVE the theatrics, and the "oven cleaning" line - poking fun at an annoying TV ad of the time. What a funny and talented guy. The best!!

  • Great ... Dino I never forget you. One of the greatest ...

  • Great stuff! Got any more Dean clips from this show ?

  • He is in great form here unfortunatly almost immediatly afterwards he went down hill fast. However was still the king of cool and the greatest entertainer that ever lived!

  • For Dean-o-philes like myself, the TV show clips are really the best way to remember him. He is tanned and relaxed from golf, in control and at the top of his game. Videos of Dean with Sinatra do not show the essence of Dean. Like so many legendary teams (Hope & Crosby, Abbott & Costello, Laurel & Hardy) Frank and Dean were incompatible offstage and not close friends.

  • I'm a big ol' Dinophile myself - sounds illegal somehow. I think you're right, in a way. There's no doubt in my mind that Dean was MISERABLE in the Jerry act - rightfully so. But, Frank was different. He was a pal over many decades. The heart of it is, I think, is that Dean was a loner. No one really knew him. He was impossible to really know.

  • Part 2: I understand people who are like that, and it's part of my affinity for Dean. But, as far as people he felt SAFE with on many levels, Frank was tops. I do believe that. Anyway, I love other Dean-o-philes; hope all is great with you, pally. :)

  • when I compare this 1977 clip with the "together again tour" clips from 1988 it is nearly unbelievable how somebody can age so quickly.

Do you have more stuff from this concert ?

  • In fairness to Dean, this clip was 1977, the "Together Again" clip was 1988...a few years had past. He was 60 here, he was 71 in 88.

  • Where can you find a clip of the "Together Again tour?" I have been looking for that.

  • great performance....but I guess it was before 1977 as it is stated in the tags...Dean is looking younger

  • no, the year is correct! The concert took place in Westchester 1977.

  • I think the date is likely correct. This clip may be from an appearance at the Westchester Premier Theater in Tarrytown, NY with Frank either in 1976 or 1977. 11 years later, suffering from physical ailments and depression over the death of his son, Dean was too ill to perform, but Sinatra thought working would help. It didn't.

  • Hey pallies, Dino is so cool and hip...long live our Master of Hip, our King of Cool!!!!
