I really want to plan on buying that game. Well, this game is really interesting, so if I want to create a character in Soul Calibur V, I would create Mario from the Super Mario series for example, or one of my OCs like Tonario or Haruka. I hope this game will be amazing, BTW.

In my opinion character creation in SCV, well... sucks a bit xD. Authors concentrated just on characters' look. Though, it isn't the most important thing in creation (at least for me). I mean there were Skills and attributes (Attk., Def., HP) in SCIV and it gave us possibility to create for example full-def warrior (e.g. with Siegfried's fighting style) or some kind of "barbarian". I created Astaroth-based character called George. He didn't even have full green health bar but damage was AMAZING!

I know this is kinda off topic here but if they ever make a Soul Calibur 6 and more , they should add a new mechcanic that's something I call "Soul Cancel". Bascially what I imagine this being is a system where certain combos can be canceled right in the middle or at the end of a combo. If peformed successfully , the successful cancelation of a combo is indicated by a brief flashing white light.

@NarutoShippudenF1 Nah. That may work in tekken or street fighter but soul calibur's moveset animation and attacks are way too strung together for that to work. It'd pretty much look awkward as hell.

The future of character customization: Companies will throw their player into a world of only stages and a character creator. There will be no other characters except for the ones you've made and the ones other people have made in their game. So now you have a character, but he doesn't have a voice. Give him one. Record your battle cries and what have you and upload them directly to your character. Now when you or some other people have made character's, boosh, there they are in all their glory.

@jc2kul just in case you weren't paying attention to AC:B, technically, Ezio did create his own league of assassins. The Assassin's are a brotherhood, so it makes sense to see a bunch of Assassin-lookalikes.

@jc2kul You probably won't be able to use Ezio's style for character creation. They didn't let you use the guest character's styles in SCIV,so I kind of doubt Ezio's will be an option.

Fuck me, the only thing I even like about Soul Calibur anymore is the Character Creation. The combat is overwhelmingly meh (3D fighters lol) and the story is retarded but OH SHIT I GET TO PLAY PRETTY PRINCESS DRESS ME UP DAY ONE PURCHASE TAKE MY MONEY.
