  • was waiting to hear that hot rail

  • yeeehaaaaaaaaaa

  • Pleasure listening to you play that Tele. Thanks for the Video.

  • Man that's awesome! Love it

  • very skilled

  • Hell ya dude! YEEE HAW! DIg it!

  • Do you prefer the mahogany body for this country sound? Or do you like it for something else and just happen to be doing country this time?

I'd think bass wood, alder, or swamp ash would be better for country tones.

  • @GuillermoSmyser - you might be right. this guitar really has it's own special sound. cant really classify it. it "fits" in my country band and it's the closest thing i have to a "country guitar" ... if there is really such a thing. i'd love a "real" tele.

  • is that james hetfield? xD

  • when i clicked on your video, i just got outta my seat and started moving around to your playing!

    great job!

  • Would you say you get a nice clean tone from the hotrail bridgebecause i'm considering getting one for my mex tele for the distortion but i'm worrying about losing a decent clean tone.

    What do you think?

  • you can always take it out if you dont like it... and you'll never know unless you do. mine works fine - the distortion or lack of it is more a factor with the amp in my case. good luck in finding your perfect tone. :-)

  • thanks well i think my amp has a descent clean channel and i personally think a good distortion channel so hopefully it works well for me.

btw what pup do you have in the neck?

  • reverse wound semour duncan...

  • dumb question but whats that?

  • exactly what it sounds like - they just build the pickup by winding the coil backwards...

  • @mac24666 And if the two pickups are opposite each other then you get a different sound, more like a strat in positions 2 and 4.

  • That's pretty cool - a few licks reminded me of "Waterhole" by the Outlaws, .some others of Charlie Daniels Love that tele, too - that's exactly the one I would want, natural wood, no pickguard.

  • Man, That was amazing. I'm only into a little bit of country, but this is amazing. I'm really digging the tele mostly. If you don't mind me asking, Do you know what the total cost of production was for it? I'm looking into making guitars/banjo's soon. The mahogany really beefs up the tone too, but you don't get that bounce like swamp ash.

  • Excellent job, Mr. Puckett!

  • it not a real tele

    but great vid

  • ive customised my tele to have a fading pickup switch which means that you can get a realy mix rather than just sharp changes in tone

  • Thank you for tat ray of sunshine. I really enjoyed your playing.

  • Hey dude PM your # again.

  • awesome playing. I loved it! *****

  • Wow, that's freakin' awesome. I'm not one who particularly likes country, but that's was really good.

  • This sounds like it would be ridiculously fun to play.
