hey guys, don't be stickin you're noses up in the air at this. take it from someone who knows. there's a lot of solid advice in this vid. i do a lot of my grocery shopping at dollar stores. just a couple tips:

check for stores with frozen sections. they're a big help!

also, be careful what you purchase, sometimes the big chain stores actually have items cheaper than the dollar stores.

I actually do this a lot of the time. I had a good concoction of boxed rice, egg, ketchup, and mustard. The great thing about the dollar store items is that they are usually sold in big cans and since you can't save them in cans the batches of food are bigger and last a whole lot longer. Plus it's really fun to make things like that.

a lot of the food at dollar stores is actually more expensive then a grocery store outlet type store, like sharp shopper, or even walmart. I've never paid a dollar for a canof beans, for instance, and usually get them for 33 cents a can. honestly its not that good a deal. unless of course its the only store near you. in that case this video is pretty good.
