Originally, Halo was going to feature various animal-like enemies, but Bungie decided to cut them so that the Flood would be more of a surprise and horror to players.

they werent enemies, they were just fauna-random animals indiginous (i guess technically not INDIGINOUS to the rings but brought there by the forerunner, or possibly indiginious and evolved there from bacteria :P anyway, they were removed because bungie thought it was too complicated to have them. there was also going to be a "blind wolf" that looked like a big featherless chicken, which u could ride.

how the graphics have changed throughout all the versions is truly truly incredible, imagine seeing the x360 graphics before halo 1 came out... we would have been astounded that that could be done at all, much less in real time.

Ive played halo 3 beta, and the feel of halo 3 beta isnt going to change in the final game, they might change some other things, but not the feel.

So based on that Halo 1 is still far better in that area.

With the recent 4 player coop addition though... hehe I sure am satisfied.

thats what halo would've been if Bunjie® wasnt bought by Microsoft®. it was a free roaming open world and it was like Halo Custom Edition u played it through 3rd-Person(with Halo CE you had to download the 3rd-person
