    Danny

  • @dlrdanny I've got a Korean one from 1993. Love it. Last guitar a bought before I took the long break.

  • @sarinapaparone

Hey man, love this little Korean EPI, nice!

    Danny

  • Hi Danny, I'm a big fan of your playing, and your Epi's sound great! I have a 1994 Epi Sheraton II that I'm currently upgrading. The neck plays and feels great, intonates really well too. Toggle switch, pot's and caps are low quiality though. Any suggestions? I'm new at this upgrade thing. This will be a great project guitar for my first time. Lastly, I was also thinking of putting 57's in both positions. Are they a good option for this particular guitar? Thanks in advance!

  • @ZenDriveSeven

Hey man! Name brand pots and switches is what you want. Ask a good guitar tech at your local store and see what he suggests. As for pickups, thats a personal choice and trial and error kind a thing. I like the 57's for what I do and they should be great on your Sheraton. It depends on what your looking for. Lower output pickups to me produce more guitar tone so I just drive the amp's preamp to get a dirty sound.

    Cheers! Danny

  • Hi Danny great tone and performance you did a great job on that guitar ! could you post me the the tone setting that you used for this one on the tonelab please !

  • @MarcBenham

Hey man! Thanks so much for positive comment :-) Here is the settings for this song on the Tonelab, have fun! Danny

    Ped FX = TUBE OD, Level = 10, Amp type = {SPL} US Blues, Gain = 10, Treble = 6.6, Middle = 10, Bass = 9.5, Presence = 10, Volume = 7.4, Cab Type = VOX AD120VTX, NR = 5.6

I use this setting allot also.

I use a very old Alesis Quadraverb for reverb and echo.

  • VERY VERY GOOD ...!!!

    ROCK ON MAN ...

  • Danny, you are living proof...music comes from your soul! It really doesnt matter what guitar or amp or gear you have...let your lovelight shine brother!

    Peace.

  • @zososhep

Thank you my friend :-) It's amazing now adays with little money you can get a presentable sound to express yourself. Yes, to many people now adays blaim the gear for their playing. I have no excuses, if I suck on something then it's just my playing or creativity. I would love to hear more of your playing man, I really enjoy it!

    Cheers!

    Danny

  • @zososhep Totaly agree with you the tone is really in your soul and fingers and Danny is a great example of this there is so many people on you tube with great and expensive gear who just sound really bad !

    Thanks Wes,

    Danny

  • Sounds great Danny. Looks like it's missing a selector knob, but other than that it looks and sounds great . What did you have to do to get it back in playing shape.

    Mike

  • @SIXSTRING63

Hey Mike! Ya the knob is missing and needs new new volume and tone knobs. It looked like this guitar had set with no case for years. Major cleaning, changed pickups, new Grover vintage tuners, buffed the frets, adjusted the neck, re-glued the nut and a setup. The wood was not really beat up, just a few dings. Seems now just a couple teaks needed to be finished. This one again feels much better than the China ones I've played, plus it feels and looks vintage which I like. Cheers!

  • Good playing !!!
