It does look fake, but its not possible for it to be as you can hear his guitar and his mess-ups. I think it just his fingers moving around oddly at times that confuses things.
How does that seem fake in the slightest? You can even hear his guitar separately from the thing, and the flaws such as notes played in place of harmonics. Besides, people don't seem to realise that mimicing a guitar part to fake it would be much harder than actually just playing it if you wanted to make it look convincing.
@Channel450 That's not fake, it's just wrong. He doesn't "make it sound like" anything. It can only sound like what he plays, if it sounds like anything else that's because the listener doesn't have a very musically attuned ear.
@Channel450 I'll admit that his way is easier during the verse, but that doesn't make it fake. He plays it differently. So what? Chances are, by the looks of it, he learned a lot by ear. Not all from tabs
