I know this is over used expression but, OMG!!! I have never rescreened anything and I decided to try a 60 inch wide sliding screen door. It came out PERFECT!!!
When I was watching your video I kept thinking, ok enough with the duct tape I get it. But when it came time to do it I use twice as much tape as you and I was so glad I did.
THANKS AGAIN, it only cost me about $15 to resceen the 60 inch wide door.

hi, i work in a glass shop and have rescreened 100s of patio screens.this may be one way but i can do one in 15 minutes.no taping.no drop cloth.just boom boom boom,and done.he is making this way too complcated.but that's one way of doing it.i should mention i use a screening table with big rolls of screen on one end of table.we also make new screens.custom cut glass,pattern cut glass,mirrors,tempered glass insulated glass,commercial and residential.panic doors,automatic doors,
@brakebob We sell screen tables, chop saw tables, we extrude our own spline, and sell all the tools to run a screen shop. The video was to show how Joe on the street can re-screen his own without having to have all the equipment. @rich6955 Thank you for the kind words. Yes, if you can find a large enough table to build the screens on, it's a lot easier than being on the floor. For screen shops, we actually sell purpose built screening tables. a little overkill for building a few screens around the house, but essential for running a screen shop. You can see them in our Window & Screen Repair catalog linked to in the video description.

Nice demonstration. But what about the "ripples" in the screen as it looked like some areas weren't tight enough.

@ouluvme2 The ripples you see are actually wrinkles on the white drop cloth we have under the screen to keep from scratching the screen frame.
