the ford interior is so much more comfortable than the others and the axles and drivetrain is the best the allison although slips at 100,000 slips is the best tranny out for stock trucks and the cummins was the fastest when it had the 5.9
sit in an 08-10 ford powerstroke then sit in the 07.5-10 chevy and dodges and tell me you dont see a difference second the allison really isnt all that great at 100,000 they start slippin and the price tag thing is bullshit cause take an laramie ltz and lariat and they are all the same price 4door short bed and the price difference is maybe $500 and it all depends where you live
@foxyz125 i agree there are more powerstrokes than other diesels but part of that is to do with their cheaper price tag and more work style configurations we have 3 of them at work, but just because there is more of something doesnt always mean its better... and i have friends who drive fords and chevys and dodges all im saying is that i have driven all of them and i prefer chevys over fords and dodges
@landon460 im not denying that ford did a little computer mod to gain a slight advantage over the duramax but in all fairness all they did was put a mini tuner program on their trucks so they could be more powerful, they actually didn't change the engine mechanically they just reprogramed the computer so all that means is that when you go to suping them up theres less room for performance gains than before so if you soop up a new duramax then they will be right back on top where they belong!!!!!
