Listen to a recent live version of Detonation. It's not very good, the two halves of the song are so different from each other as it is, screaming either part would fuck it. Maybe the middle part before he screams "De-to-na-tion" could be done more brutally. But to change most cleans to screaming, not good. Same case with And Sadness Will Sear.

It's called a metronome......Maybe the drummer should invest in one. Having played without one, and moving to one for live shows (sampling means you have to) it makes the shows MUCH better. Travis is a man among boys.....I don't care what they say about Nick. Travis is THE drummer for Trivium. Hopefully he shows up in A7X!

Yeah, I agree on one thing. Even if it is the only album that doesn't have screams, Matt does an alright job on the Crusade, and the guitar parts are epic. I was there and the show was very good.

But as expected there were some wannabe Metalhead teens in the front row who kept complaining about getting pushed and crushed against the fence... Pff learn how to survive at a Metal Show before going front row kids!

Anyway the kid seemed like he couldn't stand it and left his place in the middle of Trivium's set, so I got to be on the fence.

I caught both Matt and Corey's pick and got them to sign my setlist, very nice guys.
