You know what I don't get, why is it that people have to wait til after their loved one is dead to do something? Would good ol' Uncle Keith be so cavalier if she hadn't ended her life at such a young age? I doubt it. I understand she was tormented by bullies and I sympathize with her greatly for that because I had people harass me when I was younger but I find it strange the call to action only comes after the worst has already occured.

Don't get me wrong, these people still bullying her after she has killed herself is completely heartless, immature, and uncalled for. But suicide is never the right way to go, and I don't think she should be treated as "brave" for taking her own life. She killed herself and left the people who loved her to grieve her death. That is quite selfish. I just wish I knew her and was there to talk her out of it. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Amanda was a sweetheart. We weren't close but she was always extremely kind to me and to everyone else she knew. What happened to her was murder, because a bunch of teenage girls didn't know how to control their actions/words.
Tonight was her wake and apparently, so many people that never cared or even knew of her were there, as if this was some type of social event and not a tragedy.
