in the first 38 sec. every single attack ( irimr??) uke's shomen-uchi is projecting it the direction of nage throw. im guessing its to protect her shoulder. eather way hes a 1/2 beat slow for irimi.
yeh exactly... the ikkyo at the start (arm bar) was pre-meditated without any feeling of whether there was resistance or not, and so it was only 'fluid' because he knows he can throw her backward.
