  • Eh? The buffalo bones ARE laying on and in the ground, and will eventually become fossils. The process takes millions of years, so none of us will be around to see buffalo fossils.

  • where are all the buffalo bones? they should still be laying on top of the ground slowly being covered up to make fossils. Just doesn't happen that way, it seems.
