i've just learned that whole song fingerpicking. It takes a lotta patience, and of course you can't sound exactly like knopfler, but I'm pretty damn close :P

in my opinion, you can sound like knopfler but as you say, it takes a lot of patience and practice. and if it doesn't sounds like knopfler than maybe it's because of your guitar and your guitar-amplifier.

This is not live but rather lip - sync as Mark missed playing some mini solo's accordingly. I have this exact single in 45rpm when it first came out in late 1978 but I must admit I don't think I have seen this version played on video. Very very nice. I loved it. Thanks for posting luisanas.
