  • Beautiful music a lot of "artists" today could learn from.

  • linda musica.

  • It was all so different then than it is today... You had to be living in that time to experience it & appreciate it. It was the music of the times. My times. Just as you have to be living now to experience todays music... So appreciate it. You blink & its 20, 30, 40 years later & todays music is your memories, just as yesterdaze music is our memories. My Oh My..

  • @LittleRaggie

    you are so right

  • Am I the only one that notices that this exact version is heard on several different shows, this studio version, anyway nice lip singing, and thumbs up for having the some most stupid lyrics in all of rock history.

  • @jffloyddd 1) Maybe he's just that consistent...he doesn't lip sync here: /watch?v=g-yZ7IE0t_o and that sounds exactly the same.

    2) Many bands have fucking ridiculous lyrics. The Beatles especially. So who gives a shit?

  • I thought Slade is still touring (whitout Noddy and the drummer ?).

  • I had the pleasure of seeing him when I was in England in the military, He is truly a British CLASSIC and a compliment to real Rock and Roll. Great man, Great Performer! 1983 was his year for sure as this will always remain a Great Slade classic. Peace.

  • Its so easy to take the p***s out of the 70s music, but what is there that is so origina today, 2012 l to replace it?

  • slade has got to be one of the most underrated bands

  • Grew up in the 80's on this. I was listening to Quiet Riot and found out about how they ripped off Slade so I bought a Slade album. This was on it among so many other great songs. I never regret buying it. Slade forever.

  • @Daehawk Actually Quiet Riot aren't to blame, If you want to blame anybody blame management, producers etc. Kevin DuBrow was very adimet about not doing this song and made sure at every oppurtunity that everyone knew it til the slade songs started making them money and hits. KD used to state constantly that he hated cover songs and was forced by management and the powers that be forced them to do it. He claimed that was part of the reason Randy Rhoades left them so willingly to play for OZZY.

  • my 11th years old daughter loves this song ;-)

  • @pawelgradzki1 Your daughter has good taste in music : )

  • Playback:(

  • EPIC !!! BEST UK BAND EVER !!!

  • @carlphone Very true, My first Inspiration. It was Slade that made me want to pick up a guitar for the first time

  • Slade is awesome and several groups did covers of their songs and they were awesome. Quiet Riot, Mama's Boys, The Runaways did some of their songs and were awesome at it.

  • lindo otimo tudo de bom

  • ich hab sie am samstag live gesehen ...die ahben es echt noch drauf

  • unfortunately this was mimed. it happened allot back then but still an amazing anthem by one of the greatest rockin bands of all time. the SLADE was magnificent. absolutely spectacular

  • I need a lot of lovin', oh my god! :(

  • "A John Birch J2" Sladev 9 months ago

Slightly wrong, it's a John Birch J1, the J2 had rounder horns. Just call me pedantic. It had a treble booster built in too.

  • I'd like to hear Noddy Holder and Brian Johnson Sing harmony on some tunes

  • best rock voice of all time in my opinion

  • wish I could've seen Slade live back in the day.

  • @ogdroadsong don't want to make you jealous, but i used to drink and play darts with the drummer......don powell

  • @wolvesman that wouldn't make me jealous mate, I can't play darts for shit! Did you know the rest of them too? I love Dave Hill, he seems like such a fun bloke.

  • @ogdroadsong I did, live at Wembly, they were great, not musical geniuses, but just pure energy and enjoyment

  • @redredreds100 I am enormously jealous! And at the same time respectfully proud!

  • @ogdroadsong My first concert, in '74, Slade, JoJo Gunn & Brownsville Station!

  • Excellent song. words hit home and they are so true.

  • Espetacular! Grande Noddy!

  • slade,superstar

  • písnička mého mládí

  • good voice though. that guitarist dude is amusing. lol. check out of some of the early shit they did. Noddy can sing.

  • this is fantastic!!

  • For quite some time I didn't know that this fantastic band "SLADE" was a British Band but when I found out that they were British, it didn't surprise me the least. Because it seems Britain is where just about all the great music comes from.

So all the best to our mother land Britain.

    Greetings from Canada.

  • Britain..sadly now a 3rd world country.

  • @marktv3

That may be the case, but every country is a third world country now, Britain just happens to be the greatest.

  • spomienka na mladosť...perfektnééééé

  • @Sladev The "Super YoB" was a John Birch, The one used on this Video ia a Gibson

  • @JamesBCS what do you mean sladeplayd most of there songs live ,even on totp

  • @sladecrazyfan no they didn't, not on TotP. I posted that comment 2 years ago and remember I spent ages looking for a proper live video of this song, and others, played back when Holder was with them. Couldn't find one.
