I got a Synergy when I was playing one of the base battles and I was so excited! It was my second time through the game and I had never gotten an Arcana before. Of course it was Blackout!
i complety hate this move it sucks like rly on so many boss where just the boss is left i set up like 5 strong magical moves and bam instead it uses black out on 1 guy which is the boss and does only like 5000dmg isent of my 5 guys doin there leet magical dmg and that doin like 20 000 but no shit only does 5000 and it pisses me off cause it costs me sum fights,
well i finaly figured out some secret to all arcana spells.
1. you dont have to all all you unions in order. if your leader acts first and you have ( at least ) 2 other units with innovations it will automaticly bump them up and do blackout.
- plus the lvl of the spell is determind by what the base spell was ( what your leader did)
well, i was lucky with david.. he learned blackout at BR 26.. im trying to do it with Rush though, i'm still grinding since i used him for combat.. which is better, combat rush or mystic rush
Do you really have to all that? What I mean is like Caotic Blast, double time,, permafrost for everyone? I understand the III,IV higher stuff. Just wondering if you have to have everyone has all those spells
I dunno. This is how I learned Blackout, though. I think there's a topic on TLR GameFAQs board which has the fine details on arcanae, so check it out.
The game doesn't even make an effort to explain some basic stuffs. For example, they talk about some properties of weapons (absorption) and how you should be careful when equipping other units. Lol, you can't do that - they equip themselves.=)
Then there's no explanation on formations, and the list can go on.
Learning arcanae magics is one of easier things, I'd say.
I just went to try this and the option to cast 3 sparks did not come up even with 90 ap. do they all have to be the same level of spell? I have both Rush and David's unions with 3 evocation users...even if they are troops I'm using just for this skill and will take out after. gonna check gamefaqs and see if I can find out more.
it looked like all 3 were ready to cast black out. would that have happened? can normal tropps learn it too? that's crazy damage. time I get to work I guess :p
You know whats sad David on my game learned blackout before even learning caustic blast or permafrost and only had wind shear and spark 2 and 3 :/

and that arcana is really useful, it will fully restore all your union's HP and AP.

- and you cannot get deadlocked until your union acts
