Bush started two wars, which both cost trillions of dollars, and gave tax cuts to the rich. However, he didn't put the cost of the wars in his budget, he put it in the 2009 budget, which obama had no control over.
@chip10289 As for forcing people to have healthcare, that can be explained too: Every year hospitals lose millions of dollars to uninsured patients. People who go to the ER and have no health insurance can't pay, and the hospital has to waive it, which can drive up the cost. If everyone had healthcare, regardless of wether it's free for them or not, everybody wins. Socialism IS the answer. Definitely not in all cases, but in this one, it IS.

As soon as the people realize that they are limited in what they earn and the rest realize that they don't have to succeed to be taken care of there will be revolution. It might work on a small scale for a limited time but not a large scale. I have spoke to people in Canada who has a similar Health Care plan and it's not what it's cracked up to be.

@chip10289 Universal health care means everybody gets health care. I know a family who's sole income provider lost his job recently. He's collecting unemployment, looking for a new job, and has health care coverage for all his kids and family. I'd call that a pretty good system.
@Exemplariful I know people who have lost their job, unemployment ran out and still can't find work with no insurance and can't afford any. They are stretched out so far and bouncing credit card to credit card every month. I loaned them money because they have kids and they have needs with school and such. Making someone take a heathcare plan is wrong when they can't hardly afford to eat. Tell me where it's good with factors like that.

If the budget had not been passed, it would have resulted in a complete government shutdown, just like the one that lasted 3 weeks a couple years ago.

It's really incredible that a Marxist could ever get elected president. This could only happen with a media that has a political agenda. The leftwing media did not vet this radical. They had no interest in his Anti-American past, his college papers, or the Communists he associated with in college. Instead, they spent all their time trashing the Republican VICE-presidential candidate.
Anyway. The FED while regulated by Congress is not controlled by congress. It pretty much does what it wants too. After board members are approved by congress their job is to supposed to be to keep the economy stable, preventing things like the housing bubble from happening by controlling interest rates and handling loans.
They have obviously failed at that job (incompetently or maliciously) evident in the housing bubble that caused the recession/depression that we are currently in.
The only other conclusion that someone can come to is that the education system in the United States is a complete fraud and the things I learned in HS and College from teachers and professors were outright lies.
I took some classes on Govt and Economics and this is what was taught to us. I sincerely hope that the United States Govt isn't funding a 100% fraudulent education among it's citizens. Personally I don't believe that to be the case.
Furthermore the FED (private bank shareholders) do not lend this money to the US (we the people, the taxpayer) free of charge, there is interest on every dollar.
Federal reserve is regulated by congress. Members of it's board are appointed by the president. The thing that makes it private is that 100% of it's shareholders are private banks like Wells Fargo Bank of America, whatever state or county banks you may have. Like in this area we have IBC and LoneStar.
Who do you think the US is indebted too? Itself? The whole reason we want to raise the deficit cealing is so we can borrow more money form the FED, aka private banks.

@chip10289 As for forcing people to have healthcare, that can be explained too: Every year hospitals lose millions of dollars to uninsured patients. People who go to the ER and have no health insurance can't pay, and the hospital has to waive it, which can drive up the cost. If everyone had healthcare, regardless of wether it's free for them or not, everybody wins. Socialism IS the answer. Definitely not in all cases, but in this one, it IS.

They are stretched out so far and bouncing credit card to credit card every month. I loaned them money because they have kids and they have needs with school and such. He inherited a huge mess. But on his watch the Great Recession ended, he saved the American auto industry, he extended health insurance to 30 million Americans, he outlawed torture, he pulled 100,000 combat troops out of the Iraq mistake, he overturned DADT, he ordered the successful raid on bin Laden -- and much more.
He definitely deserves a 2nd term. It's the GOP in the House that deserves the boot, big time.

I can't understand why anyone would think he's good for R country. I'm afraid of where we R headed . Example: I'm all for teaching R children another language, most took at least a yr of a foreign language in school, but to say he's embarrassed because we haven't made it MANDATORY to take Spanish, is absolutely ludicrous. His choice of words ticks me off. I'm1/2 through the book he wrote, my blood pressure goes up with each chapter. This man calls himself American? Hard to believe!

Anyway. The FED while regulated by Congress is not controlled by congress. It pretty much does what it wants too. After board members are approved by congress their job is to supposed to be to keep the economy stable, preventing things like the housing bubble from happening by controlling interest rates and handling loans.
They have obviously failed at that job (incompetently or maliciously) evident in the housing bubble that caused the recession/depression that we are currently in.

The only other conclusion that someone can come to is that the education system in the United States is a complete fraud and the things I learned in HS and College from teachers and professors were outright lies.
I took some classes on Govt and Economics and this is what was taught to us. I sincerely hope that the United States Govt isn't funding a 100% fraudulent education among it's citizens. Personally I don't believe that to be the case.

Federal reserve is regulated by congress. Members of it's board are appointed by the president. The thing that makes it private is that 100% of it's shareholders are private banks like Wells Fargo Bank of America, whatever state or county banks you may have. Like in this area we have IBC and LoneStar.
Who do you think the US is indebted too? Itself? The whole reason we want to raise the deficit cealing is so we can borrow more money form the FED, aka private banks.
