  • lol it sounds like he's saying 'shake your booby'!

  • lmfaaaaoooooooooooo cuteee

  • My quaker is my best buddie. He is not talking yet. But respondes to my moods and emotions. I was upset today and he has not left my shoulder and as been really quite. When he is normally very load. He kisses and dancers. And loves the shower lol.

  • Ahhahaajajajaaa how funny and cute! I have a 3 yr old female Quaker called Tita. She imitates all the random strange sounds that I make, and it cracks me up all the time. When she's hungry or sees me serving myself some food, she says:" Care hueo" which means egg face in Spanish. Yeah that's how she asks me for food. If I ignore her, she gets mad and gets louder. That is the very first word she ever learned from me. She says Tito tito titoooooooooo every time she flies ahaha, she makes me laugh.

  • sounds like shake you booby

  • thats awesome, my quakers fav song is love me or hate me by lady soveriegn. if u have small children if u wanna hear this song if u have not already, have them leave the room.

  • In light of the words of the song, wouldn't this be a SHAKER parrot and not a QUAKER one ? The Shakers and the Quakers had different religous beliefs. But no doubt both groups knew how to boogie & "get down" when the Spirit moved 'em !!!

  • @JubalCalif

    LOL! That's funny.

  • @jenfoxpoint

THANKS! It always makes my day when I can bring a smile to the good people here at youtube! Have a wonderful week ahead! :-)

  • lol shake ur booby!

  • sounds like he's saying shake ur buuuoy. Sounds really cute tho!

  • Thanks but he is on high quality pellets -- not seed, ever. He also gets fresh food every day. It could be the video that seems dull -- his feathers are very bright and he is extremely healthy.

  • @jenfoxpoint I love this video and watch it over and over again. we love the way he makes a fist!! he looks exactly like our quaker!!! mmuuaahhh!!

  • He is VERY adorable, but his feathers seem kind of dull. Are you feeding him pellets or bird seed? I would start feeding him Harrison's Bird Pellets. They are amazing, my quakers LOVE them. Bird seed lacks over 30 essential nutrients and minerals that birds need in order to be healthy. Harrison's is 100% organic, no fillers, no preservatives, no pesticides. It is pretty cheap, you can order it online. Bird seed can gradually kill parrots becxause it lacks so much nutrients.

  • Aww, I want to hug him. I'd love a quaker, but our two budgies take up enough time. They still haven't learned any words, and they're a little too old now... but oh well.

  • lol she sounds like a ducky

  • ok who pressed the easy button at 0:29

  • too cute

  • Lol my Quaker is nice wen it's free outside but the cage it's like it'll kill some 1:(

  • wow mine is 4 months old, how do i teach him to talk?

  • @cathyandlucas Talk to your parrot ALL the time -- repeat the things you want him to learn over and over. The most important advice I have is when you talk to him, talk in a clear, EXCITED (over-the-top) voice. They love that. (That's why so many quakers learn to swear -- their owners get mad and passionately yell at them with "choice words" in an excited voice. Voila!)

  • @jenfoxpoint Thanks so much for the tips! We just got our Quaker yesterday, but I will be sure to do what you said. He is only a baby so I want to start working with him now, I can't wait to hear some words.....

  • it sounds like its saying shake your boobie u no

  • @alex129alex Yes, I've heard that! But I assure you he's TRYING to say booty ... :)

  • nice vocab for 5m our baby is going to be a year this month and talks less clear that yours.

  • @dajewdajew They're all a little different, but yours could become clearer over time!

  • Quakers are AMAZING talkers

  • Mine tries ta kill me!!!!!! well that probably cuz it's in a cage.....

  • @YAYNINJATIME If it's any consolation, Tucker tries to kill anyone who is not me. He's pretty much a one-person bird.

  • @jenfoxpoint Mine is the same way. My little Petey Pie ADORES his boy and tries to assassinate everyone else unless they give him millet, strawberry pop-tarts, normal cooled-down popcorn, sunflower seeds, vanilla wafers, or dried papaya.

  • Adorable! Love Quakers!!!

  • Shake shake shake shake ur booty birdy Ya! lol the little boy in the back saying that wuz easy!!! 0:30

  • Oh how adorable!!!

She is so fluffy and fat w/ chubby cheeks!!

l want 2 take one home & give it a big hug!

  • Very cute video! Quakers are BIG birds in small bodies. :) I have two of them. I swore they were the last parrot I would ever own but once you have one your life is never the same. I love Quakers, attitude and all. :) Tucker's little voice is so cute!!!

  • hes singing Shake Your Booty!

i love quakers! i remember when my Joey looked as fluffy as this little guy! <3

so whatever Maid says, who knows. my Joey doesnt do this so its not just a bird thing

  • Maid26 ... Most everyone here can see that Tucker is clearly singing Shake Your Booty. I'm not sure what your parrot is doing, but I'd love to see a video of him doing "the same thing." Post one! ;-) Thanks for your thoughtful comment.

  • lol mine is still a baby its so nice but i wonder how will he be when he is older

  • Quakers are known for being racious and noisy and onery don't call him stupid he just doesn't like you and knows you don't like him he bites you for your attitude. If you're not gonna treat the bird nice or work with him to gain his trust and redirect the behavior then don't own a bird at all. They're not like cats and dogs they don't automatically warm up to you you have to EARN IT.

  • It's not that quaker's fault. Apparently nobody socialized him and gave him the mental stimulation he needs. My parrot, too, will get a little crabby sometimes if he hasn't been able to go outside, take baths with me, and get talk to at least once a day. If someone give his the attention he needs he's sure to start acting better. Birds can sense when people are afraid of them. Wels absolutely hates my grandma because of this. He won't even step up on her finger like other people, just bites

  • That's quakers for you! a lot of them are known for being the "pit bulls" of the parrots. quite a few are cage aggressive..gotta love them, though. they have a lot of spunk!!

  • i have a green Quaker his name is coti... i have videos of him also.. he is the best that ever happened to me he is my life and not a pet to me but family!! =)

  • I used to have a Quaker parrot named Kryptonite. At one time my family owned like 5 birds (2 cockatiels, 2 African Greys, and him) and he was my favorite one because he was so nice. My mom complained that he was noisy but I think it was because of the other birds.

It was interesting to listen to him talk because he would make the sounds as you would. Like kissing sounds, he did them with you. They are kind of hard to understand at first, but you pick up on it when you hear it enough.

  • you have to keep saying it untill he gets it thats how my bird lean and looks tha same =)

  • sounds like his saying shake ur boobies LOL sure is a little chatter box cute 5 stars

  • Yesssssssssssss! And I do ... :-)

    Thanks for the comment.

  • dont u just wanna kiss its lil tummy when its all fat like that???

  • I agree! I do it when my cockatiel is all fluffed up like that...

  • Tucker is so smart, this is not fake. He's adorable and one smart quaker!!!! If you know anything about quakers, you can tell it's a "quaker voice"... Keep up the good work girlie!

  • Sorry, what I meant to say was that it did not sound like the parrot was actually singing the lyrics. I do not question his ability to carry a tune! Please feel free to erase my initial comment.

  • Way to go tucker. Come here and teach Morgan to sing.

  • Yeah, Tucker! You're gonna teach Clyde how to do this, too! I especially love the foot action you have going there. :-)

  • Way to go Tucker! You are a GREAT singer, and we love you!

  • I think Tucker has a beautiful singing voice and so does my quaker, Kiwi. Kiwi stopped eating, foot halfway to beak, to listen!

  • I love the scruffy little voices of Quakers and the fact that they pick up sayings faster than most birds. Most of the time, you have to repeat over and over for other parrots, where these sometimes pick up things after once or twice.

  • great job tucker,me and fezzik loved your song!keep up the good work.

  • Tucker is a cutie! We Quaker parents know real Quaker talent when we see it! Love Ya Tucker!

  • Tucker is awesome! He sounds just like my quaker.Anyone who thinks this fake, obviously doesn't own a talking quaker

  • aww Tucker! You are so sweet!!!! I love lil quaker voices :) Keep those videos coming!

  • neopia99, yes, these parrots do talk and sing. You really need one. They are soooo entertaining and pick up words and songs quicker than any bird I have ever owned. They are the cutest things! I have one and she talks and sings. You should hear one say "supercalifragilistexpialidocious" THAT is funny. Good work Jen. I can hardly wait to hear what he does next. he's so darn cute.

  • Wow! Tucker is an amazing little fid! His singing is SO cute!!! :)

  • Tucker is an EXCELLENT singer! Keep the videos coming...

  • Little Tucker is so cute! I love his little voice.

  • What a talented guy. That is awesome!

  • Hi neopia, actually, he IS singing. What would be the point of posting a fake video of my parrot singing? Seriously.

Many people don't know that quakers are one of the best talkers/singers out there. Look it up online if you don't believe me. How sad that Tucker's very first youtube video starts with a negative comment. Not nice.

  • bad, the parrot is not actually singing

  • Yep, the parrot is singing. Sorry you don't know much about birds???

  • Of course he's singing. ....And I happen to know that's not all he can do. Tucker is one smart little guy.

Don't be jealous neopia99. You could probably learn to do that with enough practice.
