@lifetaker1234 Anonymous is a group. It's "loosely" bonded with the imageboard 4chan.org. The real deal here is that sometimes Members of Anonymous bond together to become active for various things,like fighting Scientology, or recently fighting against Censorship and (uber-) Copyrights by by attacking the RIAA and supporting WikiLeaks. You can kind of compare them with a protet group, just that they organize in other ways and use other methods (not just IRL Protests but DDoSing as well)

The mask it's self is from the movie V for Vendetta. But it is based off of a real life man, Guy Fawkes. He was a human rights activist of sorts. He attempted to destroy a corrupt parliment with barrels of gunpowder on the fifth day of November (Hence the poem "Remember remember the fifth of November. The gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason, should ever be forgot."), but was caught by the royal guard. Anonymous wears the masks as a representation of anarchy
