In reality, Alexandre has the game style to really trouble Delpo- with his subtle drop shots and angles- can move the big Argentine around. But Dolgopolov is at times too crafty for his own good and his lack of consistency in the key points really hurts him. Tennis benefits tremendously from players like this and wouldn't it be a joy to see him in the Top 5?
Dolgopolov is my favorite tennis player. I don't care if he ever wins a major (but I think he will...maybe even next year), the guy is just a joy to watch. i saw him play live in Winston-Salem a few weeks ago. Dude took a picture with my daughter. I felt like patting his back or trying to shake his hand or something. Man, I was starstruck...and I'm a 34 year old man. He's very humble and quiet. I'm tired of Nadal and Federer's drama. Bring on Dolgopolov and Djokovic.
@beatniece that's not because of a bias. It's because of how Dolgo plays. He's very very high risk. If he loses the point, it's usually because of a quick unforced error, which isn't worthy of being a highlight. But when he wins points, they are often because of beautiful high-risk shotmaking. Watch pretty much any highlight vid w/ dolgo and there's always a "bias." It's the same with Andy Murray passing shots, or James Blake because of his tremendous offense.
I like the big man Del Potro, felt bad for him when he got injured as he really looked liked dominating tennis in 2010. Glad he is back but obviously being 6ft 6 his movement is suspect, so he has to be aggressive all the time to counter that. But if he recovers fully then he should be able to challenge for majors again hopefully.
@ApocalypseBrown9 Actually for a man 6 foot 6 Del Potro moves incredibly well. Del Potro reminds me of Venus Williams because they are tall players that have incredible speed.

thank for uploading and everything - but what a biased recap. del potro won the match, but 80% of the points shown here are won by dolgopolov.

@beatniece They're highlights. Highlights don't showcase all the winners points... they showcase the most exciting/critical points.
