I've always really loved this song. I'm getting married in two weeks and one of the things we've left untilt he last minute is picking out a first dance song. @california91149 I don't find it sad at all. For me, it's an inspirational song. During the times in my life when I was alone, and despaired at ever finding someone, who would love me as I loved them. We'll, I never stopped believing that one day I'd find someone. So I kept my eyes on the sparrow. Anyway, wedding was great and everyone joined in the dancing, so not so self concious. We then segued into 'another girl, another planet', which rocked.
