read this... if your ps3 works again afther it is repaird, you need to put a fan on the side where the ps3 sits on ( so put your ps3 vertically) if you do this your ps3 will not get hot. just a tip ;-)

@6T3AMG well i had it once, what i did was buy a brand new one, weigh it then open the box using a heatgun and razor. put 1 brick and a few nuts and bolts i had lying around my garden then return the fuking thing as unopened.

i would have used Microsoft's extended warranty but had it flashed and screwed up the sticker while trying to remove it.

Ps3 has a longer life time guarantee, and better softwar

Once your ps3 breaks thats it for you. I have both, I much prefer the xbox. My PS3 got the YLOD and the only choice I have is to either to get a new one or keep getting it fixed every once in a while cuz once you get YLOD you'll get it again and again.
