There were so many amazing highlights of Jordan he almost makes it look boring. That guy was amazing. I am still waiting for his next comeback. At 50 he could still score 15 points a game. Come back Jordan!!!
Jordan was the total package of ages. He was cool and slick Jazz, down-home Soul, and Str8 Funk in yo Face. He had all of that in his bag. He could pull it out and use it whenever he needed to. Jordan also had an uncanny way of making you look 3steps too slow, dumb, stupid.
The Game just isnt the same without him playing, it will be another 25-100 years before we see someone light up the game as Michael did. Watching the footage I feel sorry for Patrick Ewing, Mike dunked on him a fair bit lol
to all the michael jordan fans check out my mj movie please give it a chance i worked on it for a while and finally released the movie go on my channel and see it or look it up on the you tube search it's called MICHAEL JORDAN:THE GREATEST MOVIE
7:24 is my favorite mj highlight . was watching the game when that happened. he had jut got his jumpshot blocked(coulda bin a foul) and at 40 wasn't takin that from these young kids so he had to show them how it is done
michael jordan highlights x canibus lyrics = 7 minutes of fury. 2 of the greatest at what they do because they work harder than everyone else. a wise man sees failure as progress a fool divorces his knowlegde and misses the logic and loses his soul in the process. today is what it is only because yesterday was what it was
Jordan forced the game to evolutionize like 20yrs ahead of it's time and forced players to evolve...he became the barometer and still is till this day, so all those comments and arguments about who is the greatest ever..........maaaaaan let's just say, shut- yo- dumb-ass up, the next "Jordan" would have to revolutionize the entire game within a 5 yr timeline and revive a dead city in front of the stiffest competition and dirtiest defensive players of all time...oh and avg. his legacy.

im fucking sick of people saying LeBron travels. NBA isnt strict on the 2 step rule, they allow 3 steps all the time. Kobe does it, Derrick Rose, Rondo, whoever you like, everyone does 3 step, so shut the fuck up, LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all time.
The 63 people who disliked this video are Cavs, Knicks and Jazz fans who never got over those playoff beatdowns. Mad love to the GOAT, we could use a little of his magic in the L these days, I'm tired of the Kobe show
@Snod323 Yeah man its worse when you actually WATCH a lakers game... This is how it goes..Each team has a budget of idk how much for their players and say its 5 mil? For every penny above that they have to match it penny for penny to the NBA and the Lakers players go alot higher than the budget..So if theyre givin David Stern or whatever his name is all that money..And the refs btw are under his payroll..Have you even seen their ridiculous plain fouls not called?
@joellai123456 no that wasnt a travel.. his pivot was his left.. and when he rocked it doesnt appear that his toe left the court.. so his pivot was still good...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Michael is good, no doubt about that. He isn't as good as people think he "is" though. He also wouldn't be anywhere near he was what he was if he played in todays league. He was just so fucking good then because there were no LeBrons and Kobes to mess his shit up.
are you fuckin dumb?! back in the day people loved the game alot more then the money. thats a shame that you would even say anything like that. you obviously have no nba knowlege to say that kobe and lebron could have a chance against the greats. wow you boggle my mind.
@jayboy5550 i agree with on that, there were no kobes and lebrons to stop jordan. actually you had better players like isiah thomas, larry bird, karl malone, patrick ewing, charles barkley, magic johnson. and none of them could stop him (well isiah got him a couple times). now if none of these hall of famers couldn't stop him, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT SOME DUDE NAMED KOBE & SOME DUDE NAMED LEBRON WILL? JORDAN IS THE BEST! kobe's a good player, but he isn't good as people "think" he is.
@jayboy5550 I know you really didnt just say that lol.. you do know that Lebron and Kobe tailored their game after JORDAN.. so if he was in his PRIME in today game they would of been just another player getting abused , trying to figure out why this guy is go good lol.. seriously they could barely handle the 39 year old Washington Wizard Jordan and he had lost a step or two...
if an unathletic Dirk and 38 year old Jason Kidd and a midget Barea could sweep Kobe making him shoot 17 points on like 35% shooting or so, I have no doubt PRIME MJ would RAPE THIS ERA so hard that he would literally average 50-60 points per game (as Byron Russel said), or at least average 45 points per game (like Phil Jackson and Larry Brown said)
@Hawkhunter07 Jordan did his scoring in an era where handchecks are legal and there was no defensive 3 second violation. He scored bigtime in an era where guards weren't supposed to score big. They actually changed the rules after he retired to encourage guards to drive more to the hoop. So yes, you are so right. There is no question that he will definitely score 50 a game in today's game where rules are enforced to help guards score towards the basket. It was a lot harder for guards back then.
@Hawkhunter07 if your going to post something about anybody have some facts kobe did not shoot 35% on any of the games they played against dallas on that series he averaged 45% all for games did u even watch the games he was the one that was shooting well some of his missed shots were shots that he had to take plus the reason lakers lost is not cause of kobe and also mavericks are a good team give them credit they played like real champions just cause they beat lakers does not mean kobe sucks
Kobe went 7 for 18 shooting, which is 38%, hence why I said around 35% of so in his elimination game, I do not think scoring 17 points along with 38 FG% is "shooting well"
When you praise Kobe for his success, you got to put the blame on him as well when the lakers lose, scoring 17 points on 38% is not acceptable for a leader especially when it is an elimination game
@Hawkhunter07 ur just a hater i could say the same thing about u since this video is jordan's video talk about jordan dont bring up other players its 2011 not the 90's or the 80's get over it we can't compare them to players now u have no evidence to prove who is better u only think u know whose better by watching highlights give mavericks the credit they deserve dirk is a very great player so is jason kid and the others who are in that team they are the 2011 champions
Contrary to your naive believes, I watch full games of both players not highlights unlike most Kobe fans, but if you think Jordan would have trouble against Dirk and a 38 year old Jason Kidd (who said the toughest player he has ever faced was Michael Jordan), you're living in denial
@Hawkhunter07 what are u saying i watch every kobe game and im not an MJ hater i dont even like to compare old players with new players cause it would be like a myth there is no way i could prove it i mean first of all they grew up differently the time they are in is different the nba is different now and so much has change so u cant use stats or highlights or even awards to prove ur point they werent guarded by the same players they werent playing the same team so case closed its a new era
@Hawkhunter07 I agree with everything you said, but that 38 year old Jason Kidd is no ordinary 38 year old basketball player. the defense he played on D-Wade in the final was just too beautiful to watch. anybody would have a hard time scoring against him. He may be slower and less athletic than before, but he got wiser in terms of defensive skill.
Yes Jason Kidd is an amazing player, but I have no doubt a prime MJ would've killed this 38 year old Jason Kidd easily if they played against each other
@Hawkhunter07 Kobe was exhausted mentally and some what phsically....I know Kobe is no where near as good as Jordan...but the Mavs did hit a hot streak...they wanted the lakers from the get go dude...they were afraid to play the blazers....every star hits a hot streak every star hits a cold streak...38 year olds can play like they are 30 or they can play like theyre 50....Mike is great, the greatest...but Kobe is a damn good player, and we shouldnt deny talent..Lebron is talented too, butadouche
@Hawkhunter07 Remember when LeBron was still a Cavs? LeBron Wants NBA to Retire the Number 23.. for his AIRNESS, Michael Jordan? hmmmm... check this out.. On April 12, 2003, the Miami Heat retired his jersey, hanging it from the arena's rafters. As the Heat unveiled the half-Chicago Bulls, half-Wizards jersey, Riley said no Heat player will wear the number again.
LeBron knows he'll be playing for the Heat once his contract expires. hmmm? AGREE??
@Hawkhunter07 How retarded are you? Dirk is one of the greatest players ever to play this game, Jason Kidd as well. Fucking scrub, if you gonna talk shit at least sound like you're not a moron who doesn't know anything - talking about a team with two hall of famers like they're trash... Dumbfuck. And J Kidd is playing some of the best basketball of his career you novice, look at his stats even with his limited minutes. Ignorant ass.
I think you're a dumbass for not looking at things in perspective. Yes they are great players who are Hofers, but I have no doubt that MJ faced tougher competition than old and washed up version of hall of famers such as prime Drexler, Barkley, Gary Payton, Stockton, Malone, Magic (who was only 32 years old), prime Shaq, prime zo
You have NO IDEA what you're talking about, I know Dirk is great, but Jordan would have breeze along them, guaranteed
@Hawkhunter07 Wait, Dirk is "great" now? I thought he was unathletic so him sweeping the Lakers means the MJ is god.
Dirk = cannot be guarded. End of story. Name a player that can shut down Dirk offensively everynight in the history of the NBA? The Mavs played a career playoff performance as a team, this is the same team that went 67-15 and got shut down in the first round in 06-07. Say what?
You hating on a stellar '11 performance so MJ's dick will taste sweeter in your mouth, admit it.
I don't even think you know what you're getting at. My comment was addressing the common misconception that MJ had an easier time because his competition wasn't as athletic. So having these unathletic but fundamental guys like Dirk and Kidd winning just throws that argument out the window. The main key is that these guys were OLD and washed up, put these guys against a prime MJ and his bulls and it's clear MJ would've absolutely slaughtered them.
@Hawkhunter07 Yeah if I remember correctly, MJ's Bulls had to win against the most number of 50 and 60 win teams to get their titles. So arguments about competition is pretty moot.
@Hawkhunter07 Yeah if I remember correctly, MJ's Bulls had to win against the most number of 50 and 60 win teams to get their titles. So arguments about competition is pretty moot.
The main argument is, if an unathletic Dirk and an old and washed up Jason Kidd (despite being a Hofer) can win a championship, what makes you think a much more athletic MJ who had all the fundamental and basketball IQ in the world would not dominate this era and win multiple championships? I know these guys are future Hofers despite them being old, but you're subbing MICHAEL FUCKING AIR JORDAN in their position
and LMFAO @ you saying i'm hating on a stellar '11 performance, what the fuck are you talking about kid? Learn some reading comprehension, this is using logic to come up with a conclusion, there was NEVER HATE, an out-of-prime Dirk and Kidd beat the likes of Wade and Lebron and Bosh (which kobe fans have said MJ would've had a tough time against), and if Dirk and them could win, what makes you think that MJ would not have won?
@Hawkhunter07 The implication, if you need it to be spelled out is: The Mavs are a top tier team that went 67-15 in 06-07 in the West and got destroyed by the WARRIORS in the 1st round. The previous year, they made it to the NBA finals.
They are a heavyweight team, but like any other team, they can be beat in this league. Noob.
Also, sure they swept the lakers this year, but you don't even know why do you?
@Hawkhunter07 Athleticism has nothing to do with it idiot. Lebron james and dwayne wade athletic as hell but skill beats talent sorry. Who can guard dirk? not Mj i tell you that
Thank you for calling yourself an idiot, you completely missed my point while trying to sound smart, that's the point I was trying to bring, Kobe fans constantly saying MJ wouldn't have fared well in this league because of the lebrons and wade, the thing is, MJ was more fundamental and had a much higher IQ than dirk/Kidd and was infinitely more athletic, so I have no doubt he would've dominated in this era as well
Seems like you don't know jack shit about basketball kid, Jordan was 40 years old, I would be surprised if Kobe didn't outperform MJ because I think the Lakers would be concerned considering he damn near his prime, and fyi Kobe dropped 42 in first half, not 50, get your facts straight, dropping big numbers against a wizards don't mean shit, Gilbert Arenas dropped 60 on a prime Kobe and Allan Houston dropped 50+ points on Kobe too, NOW THATS EMBARASSING
Wait so MJ should be ashamed that a super star in his prime dropped big numbers on him when he was 40 years old with the Wizards?
but a PRIME KOBE has nothing to be ashamed of when another star (considered inferior to him) dropped 50-60 points on him when he was near/in his Prime?
Why don't you wait till Kobe is 40 years old and see what happens to him? dude was 32 years old last season and was putting up numbers close to a pre-injury wizards MJ...that's not a good sign kid
@Hawkhunter07 first and foremost let me say MJ was top 3 to ever do it arguably the best ever...
But ur just defecating on Kobe like he doesnt outclass most if not 85 percent of the NBA with pure skill
.. and p.s Smush Parker had the bulk of Gilbert Arenas points that night.. and even the greatest get got sometimes dont believe dont make me post those games up with MJ scoring 60 plus and still losing lmao
Like a dumb kobe fan, you are so biased you neglect the fact that the bulk of the point was also on stackhouse during that game against MJ, so please, if you want to make a point at least don't contradict yourself
@thkalas best of all time because he was a complete player. A Defensive Player of the Year and perennial defensive first team player. Clutch shooter. Highest regular season scoring avg of all time. Highest post season scoring avg of all time. Only player to ever sweep all star, league, and finals MVP trophies in the same year. 6 rings. 10 scoring titles. 5 MVP's. NCAA title. Last but not least, he made space jam. THE MAN MADE SPACE JAM.
@tdawg455 he can't dribble the ball compared to Magic. Anyway...if Magic and Bird ever come to our hometown, we'll welcome him as sports idols, but if we ever see Jordan in our place we'll run over him and his records with our tractors :-)
@thkalas I am sorry, but I am going to have to disagree with you on this one. He may not have been as fancy, but you don't get to the NBA and do what he did without being able to dribble the ball.
@Rorix9 both Bird and Magic knew better basketball than him. Without his physical skills(high jump,sustaining in the air,speed,flexibility) he would be nothing.And these attributes have nothing to do with how much basketball you know. Generally..i don't like the guy, never did, i spent the whole 80's and 90's watching basketball...and never liked the guy.Too much of a product.
@Rorix9 hey smartasse , if i ever see Jordan in my hometown, i will put my neighbour granda to play one on one against him , and at the same time i will be throwing rotten tomatoes and figs on his head.Jordan's blood was full of drugs, a fucking product of Stern and his jewish fellowship to make money.
@thkalas you confirm it yourself ;) Calm down kid. !st ask your mum if she even let's you to go to other city, let alone other country. As for being an idiot, I think sane person wouldn't spat the things you are saying ;)
@muziqaz the shitty weather of UK has infected your brains and you have started farting from your mouth.Take a trip to canary islands to clear your mind a little bit kiddo, an
What's wrong with the music?
Whether or not you like Hip-Hop, you can't deny this is very well done lyrically. I personally hate Hip-Hop, but I acknowledge this brilliant MC.
Anyway, nobody can touch Jordan.

Michael is good, no doubt about that. He isn't as good as people think he "is" though. He also wouldn't be anywhere near he was what he was if he played in todays league. He was just so fucking good then because there were no LeBrons and Kobes to mess his shit up.

@jayboy5550 people from back then would fuck up lebron n kobe .... booyyy u DUMB !!!
airsoftmaster00 5 months ago 3
@jayboy5550
are you fuckin dumb?! back in the day people loved the game alot more then the money. thats a shame that you would even say anything like that. you obviously have no nba knowlege to say that kobe and lebron could have a chance against the greats. wow you boggle my mind.
xBALLISLIFEx 5 months ago
@jayboy5550 i agree with on that, there were no kobes and lebrons to stop jordan. actually you had better players like isiah thomas, larry bird, karl malone, patrick ewing, charles barkley, magic johnson. and none of them could stop him (well isiah got him a couple times). now if none of these hall of famers couldn't stop him, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT SOME DUDE NAMED KOBE & SOME DUDE NAMED LEBRON WILL? JORDAN IS THE BEST! kobe's a good player, but he isn't good as people "think" he is.
timbo830 5 months ago 4
@jayboy5550 I know you really didnt just say that lol.. you do know that Lebron and Kobe tailored their game after JORDAN.. so if he was in his PRIME in today game they would of been just another player getting abused , trying to figure out why this guy is go good lol.. seriously they could barely handle the 39 year old Washington Wizard Jordan and he had lost a step or two...
CaddyDriva 5 months ago
@jayboy5550 well there was Iverson when he first came into the league =D he crossed jordan somethin serious haha

@jayboy5550
if an unathletic Dirk and 38 year old Jason Kidd and a midget Barea could sweep Kobe making him shoot 17 points on like 35% shooting or so, I have no doubt PRIME MJ would RAPE THIS ERA so hard that he would literally average 50-60 points per game (as Byron Russel said), or at least average 45 points per game (like Phil Jackson and Larry Brown said)
Hawkhunter07 5 months ago 55
@Hawkhunter07 Jordan did his scoring in an era where handchecks are legal and there was no defensive 3 second violation. He scored bigtime in an era where guards weren't supposed to score big. They actually changed the rules after he retired to encourage guards to drive more to the hoop. So yes, you are so right. There is no question that he will definitely score 50 a game in today's game where rules are enforced to help guards score towards the basket. It was a lot harder for guards back then.

@Hawkhunter07 if your going to post something about anybody have some facts kobe did not shoot 35% on any of the games they played against dallas on that series he averaged 45% all for games did u even watch the games he was the one that was shooting well some of his missed shots were shots that he had to take plus the reason lakers lost is not cause of kobe and also mavericks are a good team give them credit they played like real champions just cause they beat lakers does not mean kobe sucks
oliverrainman 5 months ago
@oliverrainman
You have Kobe's dick too far up your ass
Kobe went 7 for 18 shooting, which is 38%, hence why I said around 35% of so in his elimination game, I do not think scoring 17 points along with 38 FG% is "shooting well"
When you praise Kobe for his success, you got to put the blame on him as well when the lakers lose, scoring 17 points on 38% is not acceptable for a leader especially when it is an elimination game
Hawkhunter07 5 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 ur just a hater i could say the same thing about u since this video is jordan's video talk about jordan dont bring up other players its 2011 not the 90's or the 80's get over it we can't compare them to players now u have no evidence to prove who is better u only think u know whose better by watching highlights give mavericks the credit they deserve dirk is a very great player so is jason kid and the others who are in that team they are the 2011 champions
oliverrainman 5 months ago
@oliverrainman
Contrary to your naive believes, I watch full games of both players not highlights unlike most Kobe fans, but if you think Jordan would have trouble against Dirk and a 38 year old Jason Kidd (who said the toughest player he has ever faced was Michael Jordan), you're living in denial
Hawkhunter07 5 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 what are u saying i watch every kobe game and im not an MJ hater i dont even like to compare old players with new players cause it would be like a myth there is no way i could prove it i mean first of all they grew up differently the time they are in is different the nba is different now and so much has change so u cant use stats or highlights or even awards to prove ur point they werent guarded by the same players they werent playing the same team so case closed its a new era
oliverrainman 5 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 I agree with everything you said, but that 38 year old Jason Kidd is no ordinary 38 year old basketball player. the defense he played on D-Wade in the final was just too beautiful to watch. anybody would have a hard time scoring against him. He may be slower and less athletic than before, but he got wiser in terms of defensive skill.
kpopboi217 5 months ago
@kpopboi217

Dirk is a 7 foot JUMP shooter, he owns you tard.
thiennguyenX2 4 months ago
@thiennguyenX2
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 Wait, Dirk is "great" now? I thought he was unathletic so him sweeping the Lakers means the MJ is god.
Dirk = cannot be guarded. End of story. Name a player that can shut down Dirk offensively everynight in the history of the NBA? The Mavs played a career playoff performance as a team, this is the same team that went 67-15 and got shut down in the first round in 06-07. Say what?
You hating on a stellar '11 performance so MJ's dick will taste sweeter in your mouth, admit it.
thiennguyenX2 4 months ago
@thiennguyenX2
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 Yeah if I remember correctly, MJ's Bulls had to win against the most number of 50 and 60 win teams to get their titles. So arguments about competition is pretty moot.

@thiennguyenX2
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@thiennguyenX2
and LMFAO @ you saying i'm hating on a stellar '11 performance, what the fuck are you talking about kid? Learn some reading comprehension, this is using logic to come up with a conclusion, there was NEVER HATE, an out-of-prime Dirk and Kidd beat the likes of Wade and Lebron and Bosh (which kobe fans have said MJ would've had a tough time against), and if Dirk and them could win, what makes you think that MJ would not have won?
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@thiennguyenX2
You want to imply that a 38 year old Jason Kidd is better than the likes of a Prime John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Magic Johnson, Gary Payton?
You want to imply at this age that Dirk is better than an a 1990s Shaq, Prime Karl Malone, David Robinson?
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 The implication, if you need it to be spelled out is: The Mavs are a top tier team that went 67-15 in 06-07 in the West and got destroyed by the WARRIORS in the 1st round. The previous year, they made it to the NBA finals.
They are a heavyweight team, but like any other team, they can be beat in this league. Noob.
Also, sure they swept the lakers this year, but you don't even know why do you?
thiennguyenX2 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 Athleticism has nothing to do with it idiot. Lebron james and dwayne wade athletic as hell but skill beats talent sorry. Who can guard dirk? not Mj i tell you that
12ck0wnage 4 months ago
@12ck0wnage
Thank you for calling yourself an idiot, you completely missed my point while trying to sound smart, that's the point I was trying to bring, Kobe fans constantly saying MJ wouldn't have fared well in this league because of the lebrons and wade, the thing is, MJ was more fundamental and had a much higher IQ than dirk/Kidd and was infinitely more athletic, so I have no doubt he would've dominated in this era as well
Now slap yourself for sounding silly
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 yeah and Kobe gave Jordan like 40 when he was playing and gave him 50 in the first half.. get outta here...
mozdadon3 4 months ago
@mozdadon3
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 LMAO Gilbert is trash now and Allan Huston 1 ring garbo ass lmao
and Kobe still gave MJ 55 i dont give a care what age he was..... Kobe Bean Bryant greastest to still be doing it
mozdadon3 4 months ago
@mozdadon3
Hawkhunter07 4 months ago
@Hawkhunter07 first and foremost let me say MJ was top 3 to ever do it arguably the best ever...
But ur just defecating on Kobe like he doesnt outclass most if not 85 percent of the NBA with pure skill
.. and p.s Smush Parker had the bulk of Gilbert Arenas points that night.. and even the greatest get got sometimes dont believe dont make me post those games up with MJ scoring 60 plus and still losing lmao
mozdadon3 4 months ago
@mozdadon3
Like a dumb kobe fan, you are so biased you neglect the fact that the bulk of the point was also on stackhouse during that game against MJ, so please, if you want to make a point at least don't contradict yourself

Highest post season scoring avg of all time. Only player to ever sweep all star, league, and finals MVP trophies in the same year. 6 rings. 10 scoring titles. 5 MVP's. NCAA title. Last but not least, he made space jam. THE MAN MADE SPACE JAM.

@thkalas did you just say Michael Jordan CAN'T dribble the ball?
Did you watch that video or was your head too far up your ass?
tdawg455 6 months ago
@tdawg455 he can't dribble the ball compared to Magic. Anyway...if Magic and Bird ever come to our hometown, we'll welcome him as sports idols, but if we ever see Jordan in our place we'll run over him and his records with our tractors :-)
thkalas 6 months ago
@thkalas I am sorry, but I am going to have to disagree with you on this one. He may not have been as fancy, but you don't get to the NBA and do what he did without being able to dribble the ball.
Tractors? Where you from boy?
tdawg455 6 months ago
@thkalas there is no aspect of the game that Jordan didn't master...i'm sorry you cant see truth
Rorix9 6 months ago
@Rorix9 both Bird and Magic knew better basketball than him. Without his physical skills(high jump,sustaining in the air,speed,flexibility) he would be nothing.And these attributes have nothing to do with how much basketball you know. Generally..i don't like the guy, never did, i spent the whole 80's and 90's watching basketball...and never liked the guy.Too much of a product.
