I met Tim about a month before he died at a warehouse party in Atlanta. Strangely enough that was the only Brainiac show I did not catch. Their original guitar player from the early 90's was blond chick.

Brainiac is gone for good but at least Six Finger Satellite are back. These were the only two high profile punk bands of the '90's that used synths.

This band was remarkable in a time when a lot of fantastic bands were happening. I got to know them and saw them live probably close to a dozen times over the years. I think they had the ability to have been wildy popular despite being pretty dischordant at times. Oh memories.

Holy crap!!! Someone remembers this video besides me? When this song came out it was unlike anything else be played at the time. It's still fresh even today.
