White Tail Spider basics + My Pet Nursery Web Spider

hey mate.

recently caught two whitetails in queenstown, big one ate the small one so now i am wondering what to feed it? grey house spiders? wolf spiders? nursery web spiders?

and what do you feed your nursery web spider? cheers jr

Depending on how Big it is, I would think that it is a Female and it Ate a Male.

I would suggest that if You wanted to Feed the White Tail, White Tails only Eat other Spiders, there Most Favoured Meal is the Pudgy looking Grey House Spider. They are not Easy to Catch, (especially if Your afraid of Big Ugly Spiders) and are about the same size as the White Tail, Nursery Web Spiders are very hard to find and get large so They are not Ideal, Grey House would be the Ideal Spider.

i stay in auckland and have seen white tail spiders in my house for the last couple of weeks...must be because its summer now. i hate them. damn your pet spider nearly scared the crap out of me...lol its huge for a nz spider.

Yeah it is a pretty good size for a New Zealand Spider, especially good because these Spiders are hard to find like Most other Large Spiders, You really have to look Hard to find Them, I didn't find this one this Big, I found it when it was about 1 Cm in Legspan and it is now about a Year Old and much Bigger.
