@carocarotho Filtering is what the Uk peeps call lane splitting, which i think is used by yanks. Its where you ride between cars either moving or stationary. It is legal to do so in the UK. However if you are being wreckless the police will pull you over. For example, if cars are going slowly and you rocket passed, the police will ticket you.
@Serpent0fEden hehe, not exactly hatred specifically for them.. just anyone who slows me down.. I try to be considerate, and some cyclists just sit in the middle of the road sometimes.I know they are allowed ot do it, but half a brain would realise its easier to move over to help people to pass.
@bluenapalm123 To be fair that cyclist was to the left of that lane and he had to be in that lane because the bus was parked in the other lane. You should of overtaken instead of undertaking.
Dang! I forgot that term; have been thinking about it for the past 3 days or so. Still haven't found what it is called. Trying every search engines on the Internet.
i cycle to work everyday from north london to the city and the polution on the roads - especially from buses make me want to vomit, it is absolutely dreadful
trying to wear one of those Respro masks but they make breathing confined but i'm oging to have to struggle with it.
Good choice of bike! I have one myself though your filtering skills put mine to shame... I always blamed my wide mirrors and handlebars, I can't now ;-)
Why on earth is there a traffic jam before the roundabout, and then the road is clear? Mad traffic policies - no other city in the world is as irritating to drive in as London.
Road is clear after cause bikes get ahead of traffic. Cause honestly all that traffic i just passed will soon clog up where i shout at the cyclist hehe.
I notice this phenomenon on my ride to work in Nottingham, as you say car congestion behaves like a moving blockage, once you get past you're free for ages. It's hard to realise that when you're in a car.
That cyclist has big bollocks to ride on roads like that. I would hate to be him, mainly because of people like you. I think you were to aggressive around him, you undertook him then nearly take him out, then don't leave much room when overtaking.
I THOUGHT HE STARTED COMING TOWARDS THE ELEPHANT FROM BLACKFRIARS.

Its not too bad on the bike, either i get ahead of the smelly buses and dont suffer it too long, or the visor helps a little. :)

Get some vids!!
Where do you ride about? London means its essential to filter ;)
bluenapalm123 2 years ago
Originally from London but escaped to Nottingham, not quite as chaotic as London but filtering still essential. What camera are you using, price?
kevinwafer 2 years ago
Now i replied already but YT didnt post it.. grrr
My budget was £200 - £250
Camera (DVR) Aiptek 1080HD+
Bullet Camera (dogcamsport) £50
Microphone (dogcamsport, it sucks) £10
Various cables and adaptors used.
Power my bullet cam from bike supply. DVR runs from its own batteries.
Hope this helps.
