  • Teacher: Why was your uncle microwaving your socks?

Maisy: He couldn't get the ____ washing machine to work.

    Teacher: Blasphemer!!!

  • dang, how big is that TV?

  • Nice TV. My used have a TV like that like 2 years ago. Except it was a Mitsubishi.

  • This is the BEST scene in this movie.... the asst principal reminds me of my Teacher Education professor (although my professor is a sweetheart). I just love how she shakes her finger in his face and says "That is NOT a valid excuse". I use that line whenever I can

  • The classroom scene is sooo funny! Uncle Buck is classic! Wish John Candy was still here making more movies. He was truely a comedian...

  • Is John candy DEAD!?!?

  • @kittykate1999 Unfortunately, yes. :(

  • Gotta love him. :)

  • wow... John Candy... one of my favs of all time... sadly missed but always remembered.

  • the scene where the teacher goes "BLASPHEMER" used to scare the shit out of me when I was little.

  • @Doobie1975 Did the teacher also have a pony tail?

  • I love Buck's facial expressions when he first sees the Assistant Principal's wart!

  • Does anyone know who the actress is who plays the principal? I could have sworn I have heard that voice in a video game or something.

  • I like that scene.

  • john candy is a legend!

  • "I don't see how I can avoid it." LMAO!

  • the little kid in the glasses in the office is really sweet!

one of the best scenes EVER!!!

  • Favorite scene in the whole movie...

  • God bless this man! We still miss you here in Toronto.

  • Pause it at 2:17 the girl next to Gaby Hoffmann(Maizy) is Anna Chlumsky who played Vada Sultenfuss in My Girl with Macaulay Culkin.

  • buck melanoma HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • best fistpump ever!!

  • Have a rat knaw that thing off your face! Rip john!

  • his face when he first sees that on her face...hahahahaha priceless

  • Favorite scene. I based my College essay off of this!

  • pwnnnnn

  • That was one of if not the funniest parts of the movie. I need to watch it tomorrow. John Rip man your the best and my favorite actor forever!

  • go uncle buck you rule!

  • thanks for uploading this; I love this scene

(however, I do think it should be a rule for ANYONE who owns a camera, they should also be required to buy a tripod)

    :)

  • wild thang was the song "funky cold madena is a different song

  • I thought it was Wild Thing by Tone Loc.

  • Dude can afford an HD TV but not FREE ripping software. For egg's sake man, at least but a tripod!

  • nice tv

  • "My uncle was microwavin' my socks and the dock threw wup on the couch for about an hooour."

    Hahahaha.

My sister and I would always quote that when we were younger.

  • what does the teacher say after she says god damn?

  • i wish anyone stood up for me like that when i was younger

  • john Candy was cool....

  • best scene of the movie

  • Why do people do this...shoot off the tv screen? I don't see the point when it's easy enough to transfer actual video.

  • @filmteknik maybe it's a VHS tape or somethin, or on tv

  • haha one of the best scenes in the movie!

  • what is the name of the song at the end of this vid?

  • "Wild Thing", from Tone Loc. :)

  • @georgie1526

    thank you :)

  • @rufflesl lol kids

  • BLASPHEMER!!

  • Wat does dat mean?

  • It's the disrespectful use of the name of one or more gods.

  • Oh ok

  • his smile at 0.13 cracks me up to the max

  • BAHAHAHAAHAHAHAA!!!!

  • What's the song Candy makes his entrance in the school to at the beginning of this scene? Is it something by Van Halen?

  • funky cold medina by tone loc

  • Just found out it was "Wild Things" by Tone Loc. But I find with the guitar, it really sounds like some serious Van Halen.

  • @CreepyBastard55 "Wild Thing" by Tone Loc was based (ripped off) on a sample of "Jamie's Cryin' by Van Halen.

  • Comment removed

  • @BigRedEraser But that song DOES sample "Jamie's Cryin".

  • @BigRedEraser That music sounds sooo much like the opening to Jaimie's Crying, though. o_0 I was waiting for the chorus line, but it never came.

  • @CreepyBastard55 Tone Loc - Wild Thing

  • @CreepyBastard55 - Tone Loc - Wild Thing

  • @CreepyBastard55 its by tone loc and its called wild thing

  • @21156782ihateu Jeez, you guys keep on answering me one after another 9 months later!

  • @CreepyBastard55 The song at the end of the clip is Wild Thing by Tone Loc which incorporates a drum riff from Jamie's Cryin' by Van Halen.

  • Wow.. when did this movie come out?

because if it game out before austin powers.. then austin powers FULLY stole the whole mole scene idea.. you can see the exact similarty

  • @Dave416 it came out at keast 20 years ago.... still a great movie though

  • Not denying its a great movie.. but anyone else not notice the mole scene being really really similar.

  • 1989

  • @GeraldB526 Really? Damn.. so what? No one noticed it either? Or is it no big deal? Because if you watch austin powers its almost the exact same bit... The whole "moley moley moley" scene.

  • Huh?

  • "Melanoma Head's coming". LOL

  • btw nice TV!! I saw Uncle Buck over the christmas on television in the UK, it's still amazing abotu 20 years on, and the Buck stops here with this scene jajaja. The Uncle Buck vs. Mcaulay Culkin (interrogating his uncle) is one of the best dialogues in the 80s/90s.

  • Has to be the best line ever said to a school teacher and should be shown in all schools to stop the bastards turning our kids into the hitler youth

  • So sad he didn't go on to live longer and make more classics.. He's been in so many good films..

  • john hughs was a genius, its too bad there arent great speeches like this anymore, schools are basically factories and now they're becoming like prisons, kids should just be kids and play so they can develop the right side of their brain, schools are designed to keep them trapped in the left brain, which results in mindless drones and consumers, slaves to the corporate world, if the system could get away with it they would just stamp a number on your forehead cuz thats all we are to them

  • @wickkidda Speaking of that, Parker's film adaptation of Pink Floyd's The Wall (1982) is worth a watch. B)-~~~

  • i saw parts of that on vh1 classic recently, i have a friend who really likes it.. and pink floyd, i actually got her the documentary on Woodstock for xmas, its called 3 days of peace and music, you might like that if you havent seen it, very high class documentary

  • I might just do that. Thanks!

  • One of the greatest comedic introduction lines of all time. You just have to laugh!

  • epic. i love this movie

  • WHAT A TALENT HE WAS R.I.P JOHN

  • buck melanoma, moley russell's wort.....not her wort, i'm the wort, she's my tumour, my growth, my pimple, i'm uncle wort, just old buck wort russell that's what they call me, or melanoma head, they call me that, melanoma head is coming

    ROFL

  • @blehblah22 Yeah, I'm sure that was pure impromptu by the late Candy! Its too bad he's not still around!

  • probably my favorite John Candy movie now lol

  • This should be shown at PTO meetings.

  • yeah I agree, it would help to stop teachers being asses to kids, and thereby gradually dimishing children's self-esteem for schoolwork.

  • She just got fucking OWNED!

  • when did you learn "Bad-egg"???

    That's bad wards!

    Did John taught you???

    I love this movie!

    yeah!

  • "melanoma head's coming" lol

  • i love john's face at :13 when he see's the wart

  • Tee Hee!

  • Yea, john is missed R.I.P

  • "This door?"

    "The outer door..."

    "The outer door!"

    XD

  • I love this kid's face when he here's "Buck" tell the princpal off... X-D

  • oops I meant "hears"...

  • I love this scene

  • was the guy shooting this video beating off at the time?

  • What's a Twiddler? I checked on UD but the definitions don't seem to fit.

  • They sure nailed that vice principal down!! lol,, it's teachers like that, that made me hate school!!! ALso, interesting note. I've seen this movie a dozen times, but i have never seen the intercut scene of Maisy in the classroom when the teacher calls her a blasphemer. Where did that come from?

  • Uncle Buck was fucking tough lol. Totally love this film.

  • "Take this quarter, go downtown and have a RAT gnaw that THING off your face."

One of my favourite scenes ever in a movie. RIP Hughes and Candy.

  • @Stigmatainmypants You see the kid sitting in the office smiling when Buck says "There all good kids, it's cause of dried up brain dead scags like you" the look on the principal's face is priceless.

  • Why would you shoot off the tv anyway? I'm just curious. Easy enough to edit the real video so I was wondering.

  • relax filmy and enjoy it

  • They have these really neat things now...they're called tripods. You attach them to the bottom of your camera and it allows you to not shake the fucking camera during the whole video...

  • you know what i love about the internet most? You have options and freedom of choice. For example, if you don't like a video, you dont' have to watch it. Cool eh?

The video is made and done. Complaining about it now isn't gonna change anything but if it makes you feel better, then by all means! ;)

  • Well said. :D

  • I don't buy that. How's one to know whether he likes a video or not unless he watches the video in its entirety? After watching a video, one is free to express his opinion. If he doesn't like it, he's free to say so just as equally as he is free to say he likes it. How he expresses his opinion is another matter.

In any regard, this is one of the funniest scences from the film. Uncle Buck rules. RIP John Candy.

  • seriously people why is everything turned into a argument i think people just like to duke it out on the internet for no reason other than it makes you feel cool. Lose the trivualities and just watch the stupid video...i mean come on this is not a debate on abortion..or Obama..its a movie dont bring in drama where there needs to be none K!!!

  • @BigRedEraser in all fairness, this is a good quality of sound and image for filming a screen, but a tripod positioned perfectly would make this video really nice! you should try to reshoot this scene. :)

or maybe i could just buy the damn movie.........

  • @shuckymomo LMAO

  • lol OWNED

  • JOHN CANDY L E D G E N D

  • whats that song called at then end of the video at 3:28 cause i reallly wanna know what its called if anyone knows what that song is called please tell me asap!!!!!

  • Wild thing by Tone Loc

  • its wild thing bye tone-loc

  • funky cole madina

  • "I don't have a college degree.........I don't even have a job.........But i know a good kid when I see one........because they all are good kids........until dried out brain dead scaggs like you." Hahaha very funny.

  • look at the girl who's sitting next to Maisy in the classroom scene from 2:17 to 2:20, it's Anna Chlumsky who played Vada Sultenfuss and was Macaulay Culkin's co star in the movie My Girl.

  • So many grand lines in this film. Love the drive-in-movie approach to posting!

  • I love this movie. Underrated.

  • Great, great movie. RIP John. He played his best in all of his movies. Great job John.

  • Classic Candy!!! This sceen always makes me LMAO!!!

  • 3:18 might just be my favourite part of any movie ever.

  • I'm adding you as a friend and subscribing for that comment :)

  • i'm Moley Russel's Wart!! LMAO!!!!

  • "Ahh yeah!"

  • Buck Melanoma

  • the little boy sitting outside the office is the best lmfao

  • yeah I forgot about that, will have get another copy of this movie me thinks, that kid makes me laugh, this whole scene is a classic........

  • The kid laughing is spot-on, he nailed the scene. Its as though they got the kid laughing at something unrelated and then played the footage to fit with the dialogue of Uncle Buck giving it to the old lady.

  • served the old hag right way to go uncle buck.

  • Haha, yeah but they don't show what characters like that would really do after that mess. 1.) Pick the kid up from class 2.) Go get some all american greasy cheeseburgers washed down with an cold soft drink sure to rot your teeth. 3.) Go back to work and whisper boo to any uptight bitches that look down their noses at anything not marginally popular at that specific moment. 4.) Give the kid money for the arcade. 5) Later hi-5 the local bartenders and rowdy barflies after story time.

  • so true about dragging children down...

  • what song is that when he is leaving after he totally dissed that teacher

  • funky colemedina

  • Wild Thing by Tone Loc.

  • I can't get enough of that celebration at the end...

  • It's an old rear projection t.v....it was "H.D." when it came out but it's old...still works good tho so i'm not complaining! lol

  • you pay for quality you get quality...

  • i could aforrd that tv with my nuts on wallgreens

  • good for you, congradulations

  • lol i really dont want to see a 6 year old taking their ''careers'' seriously

  • Buck Melanoma, moley Russel's wart.

  • Hillarious, great commedy timing!

  • Notice the girl sitting next to her in the classroom is the girl from My Girl.

  • haha that is her

  • wat an amazing TV. No flickering lines across the screen, must have a very high refresh rate.

    LOVE JOHN CANDY

  • I love the way his eyes expand when he looks at her mole. XD

  • "I have been an educator for 31 *point* 3 years" and *wink* "Good day to you, madam." Wonderful! Wouldn't life be so much better if we all had an Uncle Buck in our corner?

  • nice tv

  • 3:18 and on is the best part of that scene!

  • Thats the first time I've seen that part "He can't get the goddamn washing machine to work" pmsl!

  • I am looking for music which plays before this scene, when Buck arrives and smokes in the main hall. Can you help me with the name of the song or artist?

  • It's "Funky Cold Medina" by Tone Loc. The version on the movie is remixed a bit. You can find it on the internet fairly easily. Hope that helps!

  • *wink* good day to you madam.

  • I teach English and I use this movie to show analysis. I love this movie so much.

  • I love this scene.

  • Maizy: "My uncle was microwaving my socks and the dog threw up on the couch for about an hour."

    Teacher: "Honest?"

    Maizy: "Yes."

Teacher: "Why was ur uncle microwaving ur socks?"

Maizy: "He couldnt get the goddamn washing machine to work."

LMAO!!!! I fuckin LOVE that part!

  • lmao i love how much of a smart ass Buck acts in this scene..its fuckin hilarious!

  • Best scene of the movie...thanks for posting!

  • moldy russel's wart lol!!!

  • moley,

  • great vid, does anyone now what the tune is at the end of the clip when he goes outside.

  • Don't quote me on it, but I think it's "Wild Thing" by Tone Loc.

  • it's a dj'd version of wild thing by Tone Loc
