  • We exist in the past present and future at one time. Say for example I said a syllable or a two letter word like'an' It may seem like I said it at one single point in time buy actually have to account for the definition of time. When I said the a part of and, a millisecond goes by, then the n part comes now and immediately after I end it a fraction of a second comes into the future..

  • Also what he seems to be missing is, the Energy requirements for his so called whirlpool (warmhole) of the space Conventional energy sources wouldn’t deliver.I think he has got it all wrong.

  • I see this guy speaking ...always, sometimes may be trying to create a whirlpool in a tea cup.

He should Quit talking and get it done.

  • This man is getting a lot of play time with his time machine plans. He was influenced by science fiction. He read hg wells. He can't send anything back in time. Ever. Doing so creates paradoxes. Alternate universes are his rationale to explain this. Occams razor argues against this. It basically states that when there's far fetched explanations, the simplest one is likely the correct one. That being time moves forward.

  • I did it! I traveled a minute into the future!

  • I'm going to travel on minute into the future and I'll leave another comment when I get there.

  • First define time please!

  • Thought experiment: any information sent back to the past simply vanishes into nothing and not somewhere where it keeps existing, our past or a parallel universe. Granted, the laws of thermodynamics would have to be rewritten. In other words, if something can disintegrate into nothing, something could also emerge from nothing. This would substantiate the question of the big bang theory and what happened before.

  • This is becoming more interesting now since experiments at CERN have found particles that are measured to move faster than light. Acc. to Einstein they should be going to the past but they can be detected on the other side AFTER they've been sent. So they're not moving to the past. The speed of light doesn't seem to be the universal speed limit. Perhaps this is just the character of spacetime to have a built-in mechanism that forbids going back in time even if something goes faster than light.

  • You could see if older relatives from the past have died or are really sick and when it occurs go back in time to just after the machine was developed and warn those relatives or their doctors providing this info

  • He reminds me of a black Gene Simons from Kiss!

  • time dont exists U moroons! haha... only moving, not more...

  • @1okaty Time ''exists'' like gravity :P

  • @1GTX1 Gravity is energy... i feel this energy, u too. Throw stone, and stone falling down. Define time please! When u were born? Which time? U can me tell only before some years. But this years is not time, its only moving earth around sun. Time is only your imagination in your head about movement of things.

  • @1okaty no way, dude. ur dangerously thinking that cuz u cant see it, it doesnt exist. Put on the irght glasses and i could see time. Its a very tangible thing, called the space time continuum. By my faith, I believe God created it. Therefore, He exists outside of it: it's like a container or reel, if you will. Or a sheet of fabric that coincides with space. Do some research on quantum physics, u'll find some very interesting information on the subject and other stuff! =)

  • @crystalballer7983 , define time please!!!!!!!! Its only now!!! Nothing more! Future and past is only your imagination, not more. Time as U know is only iny your head!

  • @1okaty Sure. Well, I think what's happening here is that we just believe different things. While you believe past and future are imaginary I believe they are tangible time and places. My evidence is the Bible. God says He holds the space time continuum (time) in His hands. I've prayed things for past (like praying in afternoon for something in the morning or vice versa) and seeing it answered. So, to me, its true that both are accessible to God therfore tangible. Just differing beliefs

  • @crystalballer7983 Oh, brother...

  • no offense but go to this guys website and their is noupdates, this is just a publiciy ploy to get huge media attention and seel a book or to, dont believe go to his website for yourself

  • @jimbolightningy he's seeking the attention to get funding. He's only a theoretical physicist, meaning he's a mathemetician. So he crunches the equations and forms the science, but then he will need funding and other scientists, engineers and researchers to make the machine possible. So right now, he is campaigning his idea to try and make his dream a reality. It's a lot like a musician trying to make it mainstream.

  • This guy already has time machine I'm sure

  • I wish a africain-american will receive nobel prize in physics if not it's gonna be for sure

  • If one can access a dimension of non-time and non-space through a time machine, then it doesn't matter when the machine was built and then you can travel to any time

  • sorry but all this is pretty stupid. I dont understand how can anybody say, that time can go back... hahaha...

time dont exist. It is only an auxiliary parameter, which created human in order to measure the relative movement of goods.

if U want go back in time, U can show old, films, photos, sound recording, all this things can only visual or sounds capture the state of atoms in their current form.

If U want go in the future? u can use freezing, or travelling in speed about speed of light.

  • @1okaty Just because we humans created the units to measure time does not mean time does not exist. That is like saying that any physical object (I used a physical object as it seems you can only think in terms of what you can see) doesn't exist as we humans made up the units in which we measure physical objects! If you look fully into Mr. Ron Mallet's theory and the theories on which he is basing his theory on you would have a different opinion! Research/think a little before posting next time

  • I don't understand something. Doctor Ron says that time-travel could eventially be possible. Hypothetically, lets say that a person could go back in time, when that person arrives at the set destination, whatever he or she sees has to be a loop, it is always happening or it is at a stand still until somebody sees it. And if you stop a person from dying, doesn't that mean that the person will continue living but only in the past, which means he will always be living years behind our present.

  • @rikkc10 A) after travelling into the past you would then live through the past up to the point where he originally travelled into the past and the his past self would travel back and you continue to live on it is kind of like a little loop in your life that all forms of you (past, present and future) would have to go through once but only once

    B) for the question about someone living in the past look into quantum physics and you should find your answer (you travel into a parallel universe)

  • People who say "time travel doesn't exist otherwise why dont we come across time travelers?"

Lol you can't go back in time b4 the machine was built. And no set in stone working time machine has been built yet! Thats why

  • You don't have to run around trying to "build time machines," pal. Just use one of the many already formed wormhole stargate portals around the US and the world. There's one such teleportation device right in Sante Fe, New Mexico. And BTW, you can't "change time" - all you can do is hop onto various parts of different timelines going forward to similar results. And the guy to look at isn't Einstein - it's TESLA.

  • @themredweirdoshow Sir I would think Mr. Ronald would know a little more on the topic then you. No offense intended

  • Check out, Obama time travels to see JFK

  • I would love to have an in depth conversation with this man. No more than 20 minutes is really needed, and my goal is not to prove/disprove his theory.

It still disappoints me to know that one person in pop culture makes more than this man needs for his experiment that will better the human race a whole. Ragardless of whether his plan fails or succeeds, it still proves. And that, is worth my tax dollars over the grants given to people to make movies.

  • This guy's story and ambition are so inspiring. Love can move mountains!

  • @MsSignpost Or in this case time :)

  • This man is my hero!

  • This is by far one of the coolest stories ever. A fascinating person.

  • BRILLIANT

  • Of course. Tachyons have been theorised by Morris Thorne etc for decades! Check out John Yates patent of 1979! There were many projects conducted by Russia and USA regarding possibilities of time dilation for defence purposes. Very few people want to discuss these findings. Ron is clearly the 'middle man' to tell the general public. Fair play to him because this knowledge needs to be communicated.

  • there is a paper published in Nature about some experiment where they detected a particle _before_ it was actually fired. That suggests at the quantum level time is not linear as we might be experiencing it.

more money should be going into this potentially revolutionary research rather than wasting money on banking crooks, their bailouts & bonuses and their scams.

  • Most of the stuff you can find by studying Dr Weber's work on neutrinos! First you make the neutrino laser (and of course you can also rid the world of radioactive waste with this device!)

  • Please Mr Mallett (Ron?) start looking at neutrino energy instead of photons and you will start making leaps in your research. Neutrinos can cross inter dimensional time zones. (NASA know that!)

  • I like the comment by scrodingersman. Rodin coils are the best way and they work when used with neutrino energy beam tunnels.

  • u cant go back in time

  • @FIGHTFANNERD3 You sir are very closed minded

  • how about a Rodin coil made out of fibre optics?

  • has anyone thought that the whole time traveling thing was just an attempt from Einstein to let people do some thinking ?

  • Dr. Ron Mallett I'll donate $1000 but i also want to use the time machine to send myself a letter in the past. Preferibly url's to free hot porn sites

  • @buffpatto1987,

The way it works theoretically is that you can only travel back to the point in time when the machine was first turned on and not a second further. It's called a "closed timelike curve", which probably doesn't exist, but it's still a good experiment to conduct just to see what results are achieved.

  • A simple way to visualize " Gravity slows down time " is by common observation of a the duration of an event. The more focus we put into it, the more we realize its slow. That is why we get bored sometimes watching or waiting for an event to be done. Gravity is associated with FOCUS, CONSCIOUSNESS, INTENT or AWARENESS. So what's keeping us on the ground ? " The preconditioned mind that we can not fly, its impossible " to put it allegorically. lol

  • i really want a time machine

  • is he gonna build the freaking time machine yes / no ?

  • @fsfsto He's trying.

  • wow you guys are morons ........... he makes sense and try to explain, use example for people like you but you guys dont get it...... he is teeling about his inspiration and about his back gorund becouse he was been ask......

  • wow you guys are morons ........... he makes sense and try to explain, use example for people like you but you guys dont get it...... he is teeling about his inspiration and about his back gorund becouse he was been ask......

  • I believe that lasers are not the best way to do this. Let's not forget the work of Joseph Weber at Maryland who suggested that it was feasible to build neutrino type lasers. This would allow the use of gravity waves and therefore make the time machine more probable.

  • EXCELLENT!

  • EXCELLENT!

  • i believe we can travel back into the past but only in a spiritual form in which, once we are there, we cannot interferer with those people who live in that time due to not being seen, touch or even talk . we will be more like a gosh to those people at that time. (yes i am building my own time machine as well and i been very successful so far).

  • @michelovando31 And do you have any proof on this otherwise no one will believe you

  • his secret are was black holes... hahahaha

  • 9:10

Now that's because the satellites move faster than us around the center of gravity of the earth. It isn't the best example to show that gravity itself, regardless of the relative speed, can influence time flow.

  • Rather than "what happens is is that"

    Say "what happens is that"

    Think about it that way:

"I saw what the problem is" => "What the problem is, is that..."

"I saw what happens" => "What happens is that..."

  • Time travelling = never going to exist. Because of if it would people from the future would come back to here!!

  • @noway189, how do you know TT's haven't visted? imagine yourself living in the future where time travel is possible, and logically speaking if it were to happen it wouldnt be on the consumer level, think more military type role, if you were on some type of mission, you wouldnt want to attract any attention, from media to people walking past you on the street. Also, the potential of making money from time travelling, from knowing the stock exchange etc, another reason it wouldnt be consumer level

  • @noway189 Time travel to the future is possible. -_-

  • @noway189 No because we will only be able to go back to the tine the machine was made and there are no machines made at this time so its impossible to come to this time, also look into the parallel universe theory

  • What does the fact that this man is African- American have to do with the subject?Their "community"?Are we ever going to be able to look past skin color when relating with other humans on this planet?

  • @tet43 who are u talking 2

  • @tet43 I can understand your initial questioning but I think in order to get a more personal profile of Dr. Mallett's life , the interviewer wants to probe deeper and get a better understanding of not only Mallett's life but his motivations. Mallett has already contended that it wouldnt be possible to get back in time to save his father - so then at that point it becomes important to understand what his motivations are for continuing his research other the advancement of science.

  • @tet43 I was gonna post the same question. Absolutely nothing! I believe it is subtle, protocol elitist subliminal messaging. Reminding folks that this man is a negro, in case u didn't notice! But morei mportantly and sinister, it seems to spin an underlying message that very few negros are smart enough to do this kind of work, therfore deterring other negros. Its the subliminal pyschological suppression of a race by elitists and its disgusting. This is y i dont watch TV. u get mindfukt

  • i really hope it works. i dont want to wait for someone to create a worm hole just to see some time traveling.

  • Loved it, I wonder when he will finish the time machine?

  • i never got this einstein cult movement. he was a smart and weird guy. i don't say it's a bad thing, i mean people need thing to fascinate them, so i guess einstein is a good pick for that... he was gentler and smarter than jesus....

but i personally didn't get it.

  • @De4sher jesus thought the earth was flat, and knew nothing of dinosaurs... i think most people in this millennium is smarter than jesus

  • @kirox777 i don't care, troll!

i was talking about something else. go away!
