The fact that some kid has a tree growing out of him isn't really all that funny to me. 2nd of all That Betty White commercial doesn't support elder abuse, Betty was pretending to be a young football player who "felt" like an old lady since he hadn't eaten anything.
I know many people who will never buy skitles again because of this commerical that not only shows child abuse but clearly tries to make fun of the very serious issue of child abuse at the hands of what could only be a mentally disturbed parent.

How does pushing someone buttons make something funny. Just makes them an asshole to me. If u r funny then u dont need a scapegoat to your joke. @MATT198509 sometimes I find myself pushing someones buttons to be funny yet to humble someones high mindedness. Although I'm not so sure that is the best tactic, because which is worse? :D Yes I think the entertainment industry is subtely little by little becoming more and more demoralizing. ( To get things more exceptable ) like oh this is on tv so it's not a big deal if I do it ) because tv desencatizes us through time... like... we become a product of that which.. you know what I'm saying.

Almost every episode of Law and Order or Criminal Minds is some sick fuck messin with kids. And that is the entertainment we sit on the couch and watch. Makes u think what they like HUH?
