to get a controller on a computer you need an adapter and you can use play station controller it works :3

You should first get an emulator, the Project 64. Just google and download it. Now you have a N64 for on your Computer. Next you should download the Mario Kart 64 rom, just google and download it.

lol really werid glitch happend. I had the ''always have 46 pts'' cheat and had the ''No laps to race'' cheat and the ''have everything unlocked''(which did'nt work) and it said I had 100 cc bronze cup on special when I hadnt even played.

First you must have some sort of Controller,that plugs to your PC(It must be USB 2.0.,of course)

.Then,go to options and select controller configuration w/e it is.Then,there is a section where SHOULD read "NONE".Click it and there should be a controller you plugged in.

Its a ROM you can download an N64 Emulator on your computer, than downlaod the mario kart ROM and the N64 Emulator allows you to play classic N64 games all you gotta do is find their ROMs, such as I have super smash bros. the original on my emulator,and if you find the right emulator you can even play online against others,

I was wondering, how did you get this to work on vista.

I've been trying project 64 for ages, but whenever I run mario kart, it always crashes my system (running vista) and forces a reboot. If you did anything specific to fix this, please post. If you didn't have this problem, then please say so, so that I know its not just my OS.

And for controlling two players at the same time....With Playstation games,like Crash Team Racing or Tekken is possible.I can also control with two Gamecube controllers two players in Melee andMario Kart:Double Dash!!.
