I am searching for an option for my Glock 30. I like the idea of the Roto option but don't know how much thicker it is. Is the Roto holster bulkier than the standard?
I am searching for an option for my Glock 30. I like the idea of the Roto option but don't know how much thicker it is. Is the Roto holster bulkier than the standard?
@kraigstrom I wouldn't really say it bulkier...it just has a two wheel gears that allow you to rotate it to what ever angle and then tighten down with an Allen head screw if I remember correctly. It's a nice option.
I have both the regular paddle and the roto. The roto sticks out a lot (I mean a lot) farther off your body. Not good for conceal carry. I would recommend the regular non roto one. I really like that one. I wish they made a clip IWB.
@southchatham I didn't really notice that...but these are not necessarily conceal holsters as much as they are more tactical and best for competition shooting etc.
That aside they can in certain configurations be used for ccw. Thanks for commenting! =]
OK I went and bought a FOBUS Paddle Holster today. The one with no retention straps or screws and the RED Paddle on the back. The package SAID it will fit my Ruger P95DC 9mm pistol right? WRONG! I slipped the gun in and it was VERY tight. I went to pull it out..no doing. I had to grab hold of the damn thing and pull as hard as I could and it finally released. I looked inside the holster & the only place I can see where it was rubbing the inside is where my Pic. rails on the pistol are. HELP
@HerbWalker You need to loosen the retention screw on the side! If it has one your holster should have come with a little Allen wrench. Your might be the quick draw style where you can not just pull it out casually but must quick draw to release it!
This works best when on your belt and not when the holster is loose.
i love fobus holsters.i use them on all my pistol systems.never had a prob with em love the fuctionality and easy of use and maintance lol.there is none.but i give them 2 thumbs up.later bud
Mmmmk Holster man... Any idea where I can find an IWB (preferably in formed leather) for my Taurus PT140PRO? Thanks Ruger! Thanks for making these videos!
I have a fobus BR2. its pretty nice for the price, It says it will fit the Beretta 92 and 96 and somehow my Hi-Power fits in there. There is some slop but its all good.
I am also a fan of Fobus. I have a couple of them. However, for the new 1911, I was looking for something a little different. I thank you for the vid. Harry. Once again you show why you are one of the best.
i tired one of these for my P229, the fit was so tight i would pull my holster off my belt before i got my gun out. I ended up going with a blackhawk, which works great.
@DaytonaRoadster Did you have the tension screw backed out as far as it would go? Glad the Blackhawk worked out for you in the end that's what really counts.
@eldogg4life If you are referring to the pics of the Sig Mosquito I did that intentionally so as to show a bit more of the gun as it would come out of the holster. When I showed it on the counter top it was snug as a bug in a RUG! =) Thanks for watching!
@knifeyaya Thank You! YES...I plan on doing a review on the Jericho Sub-Compact polymer frame...in the near future! Sure fits the hand great! Thanks for watching my friend!
Harry another great vid my friend VERY well done. I am so sorry I missed your call. I wanted to call back did not know your schedule. I have been very busy. I have many Fobus holsters. I love them They are easier on a gun then leather that's for sure. Like 5 times.LOL!
@Mr45Bullitt Thanks for watching as always Bill a real pleasure! No problem on the call it was no big deal...been here all day long! =) I now have a nice collection of Fobus holsters!!! LOL =) I will require more holster use at the new shooting place as there is no place to set guns down.
@ChaohsiangChen It's a MAKO polymer ...more like a killer letter opener. lol =)
They actually sell them on the Zahal website! Go check it out under Gifts & Memorabilia, Then under Knives $8 choice of three colors! Thanks for watching!
Fobus holsters are great. I also have a Blackhawk Serpa that cost twice as much but 99% of the time I wear my Fobus. Its flatter and rides closer to my body. And its more comfortable to boot. Is that thigh rig comfortable with a paddle instead of a belt?
@stinkyweasel1311 The paddle is very comfortable I actually prefer it over the belt option for me. The price is very reasonable on these. Thanks for watching!
@MadBadVoodo Thanks! LOL =) Well...that's a good question. The problem is I use a lot of different music in my intro's, and then we get in to the copyright thing etc.

Wow that trigger is completely exposed.
My fobus is like that with my USP.
I can however use that holster for my Glock 23 and the trigger is completely covered.
When choosing a holster make sure your trigger is covered and secure.
Keep in mind, it is the bang switch.
