  • Asserting that eating slow is the reason you have "stayed small your entire life" is a little far fetched. I'm sure it has more to do with genetics and overall lifestyle, but mostly genetics.

  • Guys, you can definitely lose weight without exercising. Your diet is 80% of what you see yourself looking like. The other 20% will come from your workouts. Now, this is not to say that you shouldn't exercise. Exercising can definitely help the weight loss process by speeding up your metabolism, allowing you to burn some extra calories, and increasing your appetite so you are able to eat smaller meals every few hours.   • Being a slow eater was shown in a university study to help you stay in shape because the smaller bits of food that go in your stomach instead of big chunks help your stomach stay small and you dont get hungry as often if you savor the food you eat :)

  • @luckyluckylavender I don't know what university study you are referring too, but eating slowly definitely has its benefits. For one, it can take your body up to ten minutes to recognize that you are even eating food! This is why people that eat fast tend to overeat and don't feel full initially. When you eat slowly, you help to reverse this effect by giving giving your digestion system a little more time to catch up with the rate at which you are eating. Hope this helps =)

  • Great tips, I'm gonna try them out! :) I'm not good at gymnastics and fitness though ;P I'm easily getting tired by doing just a half-hour exersise, and that's because I'm not used to it :\ Did it took long to you to get used to it??

  • I'm a bit short and all of my friends are SO Skinny They all say that they are fat and they eat SOO Unhealty I kinda hate it cause i'm not that skinny as they are and I cant eat the same way as them. My docktor even said that my waight was way to high. So Thank you I really would use these Tips!:)

  • uh oh I have been doing the things you're saying NOT to do..I need to watch my weight and health more..I've gained 7 pounds :/ my favorite snack is the Quaker ones that you said in the cheese and sour cream flavor I think it is...idk I actually like all the flavors :)

  • i went through my i love food phase when i was 14 and gained 50 lbs one summer, lets just say i wasnt the happiest, it took me 3 months to gain it and im 17 now and hav only lost 10 lbs, but i did grow 4 inches, my favorite snack are nature valley granola bars, i love the original flavor!!

  • 2 years ago i started getting this obsession with food so i was eating every minute i was home and every two periods in school (as in big meals like sandwiches and not crackers or something) and i gained 20 pounds in 3 months but i needed that extra weight so it was all good :)

  • Actually, cold drinks aren't all that great for you. Warm/hot drinks makes your metabolism faster, it's suppose to help you digest better. And I don't know if it's true, but my mom says women shouldn't drink too much cold drinks.

  • for the people who are saying that losing 7 lbs in 3 months isn't good progress, keep in mind that she is very small and the smaller you are it's harder to lose weight. my friend and i dieted together and she is is bigger than me. we did the same things and ate the same food but she would always lose more weight than me at the end of the month. so losing 7 lbs for someone who is already small is really great.

  • i did kind of the same..eating healthier, snacking less and some exercise and i lost almost 20 lbs in 3 months yay! :D no need to eat a lot of delicious food to enjoy it, when you can eat just a little bit but slower and enjoy/taste it just as much...after a while i was actually shocked by how much my family ate for dinner and knowing that i used to do the same haha

  • ahaa i eat sooo slow my friend still remembers my record for eating a sandwich is half and hour, and thats record for quickest :)

  • Are grain waves a better option for chips? I. Love. Grain waves. Omg and aloe vera juice? Not sure if anyone drinks this but I loooove it! I can drink almost 2 liters per day lol.

  • @parkranger487 haah i use to drink aloe vera juice when i was younger :) i remember bringing it on a field trip and everyone thought i was weird.

    oh! you should also try eatting greek yogurt. its really filling and you can use it as a dip for strawberriess (what i like to do) or anything else haha. if you eat it for breakfast, its healthy because its like an energy booster for the day :)

  • Great tips! I've been trying to lose weight myself cuz I'm quite short and I have to keep my "petite-ness" in fit or I'll look like a short beach ball rofl. But I'll look into these ^__^!

  • I stopped drinking anything that isnt water 2 years ago.. And its improved my skin hair and weight! I nvr eat candy and stick to 5 small meals a day.

  • I love to drink green tea. It fastens your metabolism and if your hungry for something sweet just put a sugar alternative in it!

  • Squats n' oats. All you need.

  • pineapple cheddar cheese and can cherries put them in your mouth all at the same time sounds gross but its amazing
