  • good old brookdale lodge. forgot a lot of shows i saw there XD

this tubes looks a hell of a lot cooler than the group i saw at the boardwalk in '09, which was basically Fee and some industry biker burnouts. at least Fee still rules!

  • They did this tune when I saw them, Rick Anderson's sense of rhythm is unfreakingbelievable. Could not stop watching him play. And the combination with Roger Steen and Prairie Prince, man can they crank out some funk!

  • Actually they are, but none have been released yet. At the time this show was taped they were recording a new album, but then Gary left the band and those recordings are floating in limbo now.

  • Another Zappa-esque effort by the Tubes.

I so wish that they were still making recordings...

  • wasn/t this on the wild west tour?

  • I think this show was the last one in the US before they went on that tour which began in Europe. Thanks for your comment!

  • This rocks! Many thanks from Florida!

  • Make your mess and clean it.

  • Thanks for posting!

  • This band was always so tight and had the best mixed sound!

  • The shriners hat is a nice touch.

  • How can't you love this shit?? These boys know how to play for the crowd AND themselves.

  • Oh Jayzus fuhREAKing Kryst, just ONE futhermocking concert in Denver, you guys??????

  • the tubes need to come back to the royal oak theater !

fee, sputnik i miss you, take me back thirty years,

hang myself if i git enuff rope

  • I love You Tube!

  • Bugger me! Fee's hands look even bigger than ever! Who cares!? What a fantastic band. Come back to Blighty soon.

  • I love this band!!

  • sorry...found out that ain't Sput...

  • But it does look like Allan Sherman.

  • Gawd...Sputnik Spooner looks like Allan Sherman..baby, we're all gittn' older!

  • Actually, the person you are referring to is Gary Cambra who was with the band when they reunited in the 90's. He moved on to greener pastures last year and has not been replaced. If you want to see Spooner look at my Rio Theatre Reunion clip WPOD.

  • Freaking precious. I loved Rick's fez; he really looks like a shriner!
