Even though that guy is a dumbass, and this is of course Arabic in the clip and Armenians speak Armenian (which is not even a semitic language), you are wrong about Assyrians.

The "Assyrian" language is the East Syriac dialect of Aramaic, and what people in Ma3loula, and Syriacs elsewhere (also Maronites in the past, but they changed to Arabic over the last few centuries) speak is the West Syriac dialect of Aramaic.

true but my point is that they have their very own distinct language, seperating them from other commen Arameic languages and dialects. For example, an Assyrian man speaking the typical Assyrian language, would pick up but not fully understand or be able to speak other Arameic dialects.
