No mechanical insrtuments...only voices as commanded in Eph.5:19 and Col.3:16 The entire worship service is suppose to be uplifting and meaningful. As one can hear......the congregation(individuals)are singing for themselves.

Christians do not entertain foolishness. I personally don't have a problem with a bass singer we have them at my church. But everyone is has an opinion. I must say that this one Christian that's very negative is behaving more like "church folk" than a man/woman of GOD.

This is CLEARLY the LORD'S church. There is no musical instrument used other than the Human voice. Besides everyone is singing. So what there is a lead. The song leader is set apart from the congregation because he is the Leader, everyone doesn't have a mic. Besides who determines what songs are meant for worship. I am not deaf, We are commanded to sing not to doo-wop like the Temptations, I guess while Paul sang, Silahs hummed the bass line. Sounds to me that just singing as God commanded was'nt good enough, so they threw in the harmonizers to spice things up! More of entertaiment than worship!
