Not gonna lie, I was one of the people who skipped over most of this part. :P I'm thinking about going back and reading it. Can someone tell me - is it actually important for understanding the exiles and everything, or is it just silliness?
@TheWarnerSister It is VERY important to understanding Spades Slick's backstory, the one who shot Snowman. It is also what set up Jack Noir's character as a ruthless killer, not just some angry dersite guy.
@TheWarnerSister As well as what Drillgorg said, it actually outright mentions Lord English long before his arrival, and it works as a segue toward introducing the trolls.
@TheWarnerSister: i made the same mistake when i started reading. It's actually.. really reeeaally important you read it in order to get major plot point/characters/happenings later on in the story. I felt really stupid for initially skipping it when i finally read the whole thing, Midnight crew is awesome.
Wow, all these people dissing the intermission here make me sad. I think it was honestly better than most of the rest of Homestuck. Alien gangsters over shipping drama any day.
@GoldenLanternStudios It was just used in The Benny Hill Show. "Yakety Sax" is the actual name of the song, which was written independently of Benny Hill.
can i just love forever?

After having read through the intermission, this is a good way to remember all of the shenanigans involved.

This is ten times as much fun than reading it.

At LEAST 100%. Colonel Sassacre could probably figure out the exact index of hilarity.
