Man great job. I have a 1972 Tele just like yours except mine is chocklet colored. I love the twin humbuckers. Yours looks in great shape. 5 stars and thanks for stopping by my site in 09. Good picking to you in the new year! Sherrill
Fender Super Champ XD... It's a 15 watt tube amp with amp modeling and digital effects processor. The syncing took me a while to figure out, but I record with both the camera mic using the camera software, and a good mic using multi track studio software at the same time. I use the waveform of the camera mics recording to visually line up the waveform of the good mics recording in the video editing software then mute the the camera mic's audio...Make sense?
Thanks man! It was mic'd, but at REALLY low volume. Between the vintage tweed amp model on my SCXD and the custom shop Texas special in the bridge, it'll get quite the "Tele" sound =)
drop D?

Makes sense - I have thought about doing that. It can't be too difficult. What are you using to merge the two together (software)?

I use either Magix Movie editor or Windows movie maker..either works, but magix has a lot more options.

What is an SCXD? It sounds good. How did you sync the video to the mic'ed sound (or did you run the mic to the video camera)?

Awesome! Was that mic'ed or just the camera mic? It sounded really tele. That probably doesn't come across like I mean it lol
