  • oh, know it has audio (-:

    very, very nice!

  • no audio )-:

  • Amazing.

  • Love you.

    Love this song.

Get your goddamn hair outa your face!

  • Can't get this song out of my head. .

    Great musician!

  • just heard her sing this last night at homelights fest in whelan's, along with a few other songs she did.

must say this was particularly great. amazing voice and lyrics "..if you could unlearn all the words that you never wanted heard.." one of the best lines ive heard in recent times. in fact great lyrics all round. cheers

  • i just pulled out her first two albums (the only two i own) over the weekend; i think about her songs a lot, this one in particular. gorgeous. the music biz being what it is, artists come and go, but...i love love love this song.

  • Wow... that was some performance, the sound of her soft voice is incredible.

Music of this caliber is hard to find nowadays we have marketing experts creating music products and instant celebrities. this girl is miles above all that crap with her poetic music.

Thanks for sharing this with the world.. in the country where I live, the only way to see artists like Katell is here.

    I am still amazed...

  • Katell is unique, completely one of a kind. Listening to her is an incredible experience, I think only her reaches me so deeply - whereas I love lots of other musicians - there's just no words. Luckely a good soul brought me to her...I wish she made more gigs so I could see her live one day... :) it's true it's a pity the only way to see her is through the Internet...

Well, anyway, thanks again to Pathduck for posting this wonderful video!

  • I hope Katell will come to Los Angeles, I would love to promote her visit.... I have been sharing her music for a decade... its time to unleash this powerful performer!

  • What?? From wikipedia: Araby comprises the fictional or romanticised traditional counterpart to Arabia or to the Arab world. In the context of Edward Said's view of Orientalism, Araby exemplifies the exotic and mysterious nature of the Middle East.

  • If you are talking about the gulf between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula, then the only appropriate name is Persian Gulf, as is stated in the official United Nations legal documents. Unfortunately, many Arabs are using fake names for it, which is not only in breach with international law but it's also a way to distort Persian history. Anyway, don't worry, I did not flag this video. Peace.

  • Katell introduced this song referring to "Araby" by James Joyce in Dubliners last Monday... :)

  • @tobestill Oooh very envious, wish I could've been there, hope to see her again live soon :)

  • Wow! I thought the cover version everyone talks about was good. Katell is outstanding!!

  • auch sehr schön ! ...das plappermaul vorher kann weg

  • Yes, I might post one without this guy :)

  • this 'guy' is glen hansard!!!!
