@muvvest one of the reasons was that one of the guys was falling away from the Lord... for a while they still were doing shows and stuff, but it didn't seem right to them... so Michael Tait started doing his own stuff, and now he is the leader of Newsboys!

This is kindof a paradox, jesusdemii's comment, and name. You swore, but you say christian rock is awesome. Also, demi/demii usually refers to a 'demigod', but there is only one God, and he didn't have any literal 'children' with a human, all he did was put the spirit(soul maybe) in Mary's woumb.

actually maybe he meant deim by his display name, which is latin for god. it can also imply authority...

and the word damn in some cultures is actually not considered offensive, for example in the united kingdom where i live.

also demi is not necessarily refering to demigod, but it can refer to a lower being...and there are in fact lower beings, the angels 4 example.

Besides. I'm not christian, but I absolutely love Christian rock music. DC Talk, Tait, Toby Mac. All sorts of others. It's actually one of my most played channels on the radio.
