  • That's pretty imaginative. The same thing 'might' work with crushed tvp, textured vegetable protein. TVP is 4 carbs or so per 1/4 cup but that's dry. When water is added it expands many times in volume so the end result is a carb content a fraction of that. Not to say there's anything wrong with pork rinds. I just got some to replace tortilla chips for salsa.

  • ok, so this is from 2007 which is 3 years ago ... just watched one from 1 month ago. Absolutely no progress. You're obviously either full of shit and pretending to know anything about low-carb on youtube for the sake of hits ... or you're a complete idiot.

  • I just a little bit ago got the courage to make this.......and it was good! Shock of shocks.....But make sure you put syrup on it FIRST or it does taste a little weird...Thanks

  • love the recipe...lo carb eating is great- and it looks like you've got that part down, but whats with the liquor rack I saw in the background (I'm assuming that is what it looked like!) haha- caught ya!!!! Keep the recipe's coming! Awesome!

  • what happened, i just bought my rhinds to do this recipe!

  • Well, I've watched a couple of your videos and while they may be low in carbs they have an extremely high calorie count. I think your recipes need some tweeking.

  • Calories don't matter when you are doing Atkins. It's the carbs and the sugar you need to watch. I am living proof it works. I've tried everything and the ONLY thing that worked for me was Atkins. But to each his own. Good luck!!!

  • This looks interesting.

I may have to try it, just to try it.

    One suggestion.

Add a tablespoon of Flaxseed Meal to get fiber and omega 3's.

I like your peanut oil suggestion too!

Bowulf's low carb mock Danish is really good too.

Even my skinny little kids dig them. I add the flax to them too so I sneak in good fiber. Usually I don't add the splenda to the mix or make the topping Kent does. We just top with sugar free smuckers and even low carb whip cream.

    Try them!

    Good Luck.

    Darren
