Hardware issues:

1. There are air bubbles in the plastic. So my mouse broke barely one day after I bought it! The screw holder (the cone that holds screw)broke into2 pieces because of bbl 2. It appears that the whole mouse is being carried by only one screw - more pressure on butt.

4. The side buttons are very uncomfy, because there is not enough place to put your thumb. Buttons are stiff and you drop very easily a granade if you try to hold

Howerver, after the disappointment I decided to get one Abyss (mirror edition) myself. And I would say it is more comfortable (you can leave your hand on the mouse, unlike Copperhead where you need to put a little constant pressure on your fingers to hold the mouse because it's unecessary thiner than it should be) And I`m very pleased with it. Perfect form, cover and the most important thing is the lack of side buttons (simplicity) which makes it great for FPS

Go for Razer Deathadder. That is the best gaming mouse ever for FPS games. It works for Windows 7 64bit and 32bit with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!!! And you can use it to everything, so, the Copperhead sucks dick, I had it when I start with FPS games and it was Mouse Lag with Copperhead, so go for the Deathadder!!!! The ikari seemed to be very senile in its tracking, and the rubberization absorbed the sweat from my hand after prolonged use and turned black and very rough...

i got a problem with copperhead. the two buttons plastics that are clicking the buttons inside, in time made a gap and buttons are clicking hard now.

i got this after 4 months of every-day use.

this is a gaming mouse that you need to use it only when you play.

This is the best mouse I've used for fingertip aiming using a low sensitivity. Nothing beats the grips of the rubber side rails in all honesty. Sadly the sensor is dated and starts to get jitter issues over time.

@mrvlhs That's a good question bro. I tried the Lachesis- shape is very awkward. I have the Abyssus & it comes close but is light compared to the CH & has jitter (except certain pads). Got the Razer DH, and it gets slippery on the side & is too heavy, plus I like ambidextrious mice more. Out of the 15 mice I have, the latest 1 the SS Xai just about fills the CH shoes w/ a good side grip, weight, shape and performance. I won mine in an online raffle and I have to say I feel lucky to have won it

@mrvlhs The Abyssus is probably your closest bet, granted you get one that doesn't skip or you buy one of the mouse pads which are reported to NOT exhibit skipping with the mouse. Cypher, one of the worlds top duelers in QuakeLive (and arguably the best) uses one without issues on his Razer Goliathus Speed. It's just hit or miss whether you will get a good one or not.

The complaint about the fit is related to the grip design. This is not designed for a Palm Grip, rather a Claw or Fingertip Grip.

I have a Razer Diamondback that's about 4 years old now and the buttons are wearing out so I ordered myself a Copeprhead off Razer's site (they didn't have red so I got chaos green). I'm left handed so this is by far the BEST mouse suited for me, since the Copperhead & Diamondback both has the same design.

had this mouse but sadly the laser will go out for about 4 to 5 years i had mine fro 4 years and the laser broke so i bought the ACE EDGE 3200 wich has 1100 dpi more than copper head and you can change the color to enything you whant its also pulsing lights on the ace like the copperhead and the aci is bigger you can change wieghts i have full and you can change the grip on the ace and its also the same price :)

I think you'll find that gold is a good conductor and doesn't oxidise (in air or water), so you should get a better connection. But that means nothing if the crappy tin USB connectors in your PC are corroded! The chances are that on a $80 mouse, the gold plating (if it is gold) will be little use other than cosmetic anyway. The way the mouse rattles when you're handling it doesn't convey quality.

I got the Razer Exactmat and sweat and bits of skin will just come to the pad and then to the little feet of our beauty here. I had a diamondback (first edition) for almost 6 years now. It has around 9000 working hours and now it broke. I got me a Copperhead for 40bux now...hope it will last for some time too.

Its more so a fingertip mouse, your not supposed to put your whole palm on it. Palm users should lean more towards the Death Adder. I have had my copperhead for i think 3 years now.
