  • I've had one for about 5 months, when it first showed up, it was painful and my lower eyelid was swollen like 5 times its normal size. Every now and then it will act like it's going to get inflamed again. I think I'll just go have it removed. It's so annoying.

  • From self diagnoses I think I need this! Oddly I only have this "pimple on the eyeball sensation" when I'm tired and about to fall asleep. Never any odd feelings up until then. I think I 'll just visit the doc and let him/her decide .

  • i just had that done yesterday it hurts but just i lil bit

  • Omg I have to get that done next months -_-

  • @packerzgirl good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they did this to me yesterday ! ahhaah it kinda hurt in a way :O !

but the next day its all good.

  • I.got.this.20 min ago and trust me wont feel a.thing but the IV sucks ass

  • I'm scared to get this...

  • Gosh how I love that incision at 0:39 <3

  • Ive had it done a few times. Its not bad. Btw u dont feel the blood on the eyeball , they apply anesthetic drops onto the eyeball.

  • Trust me it sucks!!! Never go for surgery. Stick a kettle on. Use the steam with a finger. It will ease of the seabum to roam across the moibomian glands.

  • so, this is what the doc did to my bottom eyelid yesterday? thank god i feel nothing and don't see anything! hope the swell will be gone as soon as possible. me eye looks like i've been crying non stop!

  • Hi, I got this done yesterday and I've just taken my eye patch off but my eye looks exactly the same as before, there's a little bruising but there is still a lump where the cyst was. Does anyone know if this is normal, will it disappear after a few days?

  • watching this made my eyes water...

  • PEOPLE PLEASE DONT GO TO SURGERY THATS SO STUPID, USE CUREPOMADE ( ULTIMATE ACNE SKIN CREAM ) GUARANTEED IT WILL CLEAR IT WITHIN 3 DAYS . IT HELPED ME A LOT. SURGERY IS THE LAST THING YOU WANT TO DO.

  • Ooooowwwwwwweeeeeee

  • I just got that done a few weeks ago Dx SUCKS!!

  • whole up why do ppl need surgery on a stye dont they go away with mediciene or just go away by they selves or is this for when they dont go away and get bigger overtime

  • Itachi has an eye problem

  • blood in eyes burns...so why is that patient still awake.

he should be under, fully under. he's all still linking lmao. theirs so much protein in blood it burns, worsts than hotsauce.

  • omg i almost fainted when i saw the blood in the eye

  • @ugglover234567 faggot

  • dude imagine that without him on anesthetics

    OUCH!!

  • Interesting, mine was done under general anaesthetic

  • btw, i felt the paint while the doctor gave 2 injections in, and

  • had my surgery yesterday. The injection was very, very, very painful!

  • Eeew .! All that bleeding ,ima have tp do this if my sty dont heal but my eyes is sensitive so ewww -.- idk how dis gana work out

  • how much of you were your eyes were watering

  • HOLY FUCK IAM DOING IT PRETTY SOON T_T looks nasty

  • I guess techniques can vary. There was no patch placed over the eye and no ointment applied on my procedure. There were some extra square cotton absorber provided just in case. I was able to drive home 15 minutes later.

  • HAD MY SURGERY FEW HOURS AGO ,injection was freaking horrible

  • i have same shit on BOTH eyes. Awaiting for surgery 8(

  • OMG that looks like it hurts! that person has to be asleep!

  • @nubian05girl Twilighted, maybe. But not put to sleep.

  • OMG that looks like it hurts!

  • ouch... that looks like it hurts 0_0

  • Why does this need to happen to me ffs

  • omg now i remember y i DONT want to be a doctor

    o man AHHHH

    gav eme the heebeegeebeezz

and to think ima hav to go through that

    BLAHHH!!!

  • @selket210 are you kidding me?

    you´re worried about the doctor?

think about the guy that is having the surgery!

    poor guy!

  • @Jaquelinex1x1x1 o plz its not like hes in pain or can see it

  • @Jaquelinex1x1x1 and i never dais i was worried for the doctor i said i remember y didnt want to be one

  • I managed to get on while travelling in Vietnam, had it for about 6 months hoping it would just subside if I used hot towels on it (which it didn't). Had the operation 3 days ago, and th eyelid is still very swollen, I don't know if this is normal...

  • @mrbobo978 Yes, it's normal to have swelling for 2 or 3 days after due to bruising, the cuts and stretching during the procedure. The doctor said to ice it for 24 hours to help keep the swelling down. Your doctor should have warned you about that and mentioned icing.

  • That shit made my eyes water

  • I went on this procedure twice, once for each eye,and all can say is that you have no reason to worry.surgery may look scary but before surgery you'll get anestetic and you won't feel NOTHING.first day after the procedure you feel like you got hit 2 times by mike tyson, but in 4 days all the swealling and the pain will be gone.I hope i did help :)

  • @MrGinokoro is that the sleep drug or the pain killer cause if its just the pain killer it would be dreadfull seeing that

  • @MrGinokoro I agree!!! I had this done. First few hours was fine. Had panadiene forte, but after a few hours felt like I'd been punched in the eye. The next few days it kept leaking and kept getting all this chunky pus build up in the corner of my eye!! Was gross!! Was like that for a few days but then got all better and haven't had problem since.

  • @MrGinokoro Wait, soo everyone has to do it? O_o

  • @MrGinokoro Wrong, this all depends on whether or not you get good anesthesia. It was extremely painful for me, especially when the doctor started scraping. So, for people who are doing research or whatever before the surgery, all you have to remember is to tell the doctor to apply the right amount of anesthesia. You shouldn't be able to feel the pinch of the clamps either, or you'll be feeling the pain of the scraping.

  • I assume this procedure hurts.

  • i have to get this done tomorrow..FML

  • ahh.!! duele

  • dont trip!!!

  • oh shit i go not to the eyes doktor OOHHH

  • this was a sloppy operation

  • we'd do vertical incision since it won't damage the adjacent normal meibomian glands.

  • AUCHHHHH

  • @blissfullness93 nopeee i had one done and i was fully awake, took like five minutes? they couldnt stop the beeding.

  • Look at the 12 Chalazion operation video. It's much better then this one. This looks like a right mess.

  • I'm so dead!!!! I have that to and I don't want this operation

  • @Yasmienastrait Hi, I was wondering if you had the operation? Or did u wait?

  • @darfunkelidas I am still waiting

  • i had my sty again. .. i think i might have this operation again .. fuck!!

  • omg, this looks scary!! Everyone says it doesn't hurt but it sure looks like it does. And i have one :( and its big and hard :( :( i don't want to tell me dad! *crys

  • @YExoticCreature dont ne scared. .. you wont feel anything..

  • @YExoticCreature i have my econd surgery tomorrow. the only part that hurt was when they clean up the bllod and the cotton fiber rub against your eyelid. besides that its quick and easy.

  • @hellokitty0033 Second surgery? So it always reincides?

  • @darfunkelidas just ask for the steriod shot. its faster, cleaner, and heals at a greater speed.

  • @hellokitty0033 Well, ive seen a video of a girl who had her chalazion removed and after lkess than a week she looked perfect. My chalazion is very very small, the steroid shot has some very horrible risks with skin pigmentation whereas the surgery at worse makes a scar but its still on the back of ur eyelid.

  • @darfunkelidas No but it is possible that i can come back.

  • I had the best black eye EVER after having this done. Anyone who needs this done don't worry, it is nowhere near as bad as it looks here.

  • i had this surgery...didnt hurt... no swelling at all

  • it look like it will hurt

  • ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • I had this done, and to my surprsie the part that hurt the least was the needle lol

  • what is draining from the stye?

  • it doesn't hurt one bit !

it only looks like it does.

the pain comes the days after. =D

  • @MissShaneDawsonLover oh yes, thats true.I just had that surgery (8 hours ago) and i didnt feel anything but now my eye is a mess :( Its so huge and it hurts very much when i touch it

  • EW i might have to get this done! fhckkkkk

  • @MagnMango shit me too

  • I just had this done yesterday....didn't feel a thing. They cauterized mine afterwords, so I didn't have all that blood and goop in my eye. Other than seeing smoke coming out of my eye (which is a little disheartening) it was a piece of cake. Took probably 5 minutes and I was out of there. I have a bit of a shiner today - looks like I got in a bar fight, but not a bad one :) If you need this done, don't let the video scare you - it's no bit deal. Glad I didn't watch this beforehand though!

  • I'll die if I ever need this done!

  • please tell me that person is drugged first...PLEASE

  • I also had this done. Hurt like hell with they stuck a needle in my eyelid to numb the pain!!!!! After that it was smooth sailing. Didn't feel a freaking thing. But that needle....oh man.....painful as hell!!!!

  • Gah I have a giant one on my upper eyelid. Will have to have it out next week. Barf city.

  • @barkulator yikes I wouldn't have watched this first...

  • i never knew that you had to take a cum blast in your eye as the last step of this process!!

  • ya they did this to me it sucked i got watery eys haha

  • that's disgusting

  • btw it only costs 14 dollars here.

  • im in peru, and monday i will have this surgery, i thought it were longer.

  • i have 2cysts on my eyelid do they do the same thing?

  • @KME5218 i also had 2 cysts on my lower eye lid. one big one in the middle, then a little one off to the right. they do the same thing but twice. trust me people, this ISN'T painful. people are saying the anesthetic hurts but i didn't even feel that. i have to go get it done again though because mine came back.. that's the worst part of it all: reoccurring chalazions.

  • Yeah I am going in Tomorrw 8.55am,Ive had it done b4 its been 5yrs my friend had an eye infection passed it on to me. So back to table hopefully will be short and painless and hope the freezing works quick. Get this grossness my eyelid

  • why wouldn't they give this guy anaesthesia before they did this

  • idk they knowcked me out for my surgery

  • I am guessing there aren't as many nerves to cause a great deal of pain behind the eyelid. Probably a lot of blood vessles, but I dont think there are a lot of nerves there.

  • i had this surgery about 2 yrs ago, and it wasn't nearly as traumatic as this video makes it seem.

The most painful part of the whole thing was the needle to numb it. Also, there is not all of that blood going anywhere either. If you have to have this surgery, don't worry once the numbing is over you'll be fine :) and the whole surgery only takes about 10 min.

  • i just had it done

the worst part is the clamp, stretching your eye lid

because its already numb, it feels like your whole face is being stretched

post-op about 6 hours now and it feels fine, just swollen

  • i have one right now and im so scared!! i dont want surgery!!! D: D: D: D:

  • cost ranges from 190 and up! Some doctors base the pay on how big the chalazion is. Mines cost 250 so it can be expensive and before i even had my last visit another one began to grow. Now i have 3 on my left uupper eyelid, 1 huge one on my right upper eye lid, 2 almost unseeably small one on my lower right, and the one i got removed for 250 seems to be reaccurring in my lower left eyelid. so surgery means nothing if your glands keep getting clogged!

  • will have this in like a month !!!!!!not looking forward to the blood or the gooey stuff they squirt n my eye :(:(:(:(

  • Eeekk i had this done last summer and it fukkn hurt!

  • if was him/her i will just close my eyes.....

  • Just had this done! They first stick a needle in your eye to give you a shot, then cut it open. It hurts like a bitch.

  • the shot doesn't hurt at all. i hardly felt a sting.

  • how much does it cost to get this done. i got a big as one and thinking bout to clip it off with a big scissor.

  • i wonder how much that surgery cost ??????

  • its 500 dollars, i had it done last summer and we asked the price. first they said 10,000 bucks and then they said 500 hundred cause it is considered cosmetic surgery.... its a crazy world

  • do u get an injection? coz fuck that looks sore

  • got to have this done me self cant wait to get it over and done with i feel like i have a nipple stuck on me eye lid

  • I poped mine myself. Big explosion on bathroom mirror. Should have got it on video.

  • im trying for mines. it hurts so much

  • A CLOCKWORK ORANGE!

  • i got a stye in july due to sleep deprivation..but i didnt take it seriously and didnt get enough sleep..so it went on and suddenly after 3 months when i had to spend 3 sleepless nights on a big assignement,it became more hard and turned into a chalazion..one in the upper and another in the lower lid..had it 'removed' last week..but now the doc says dat the thickening of the lower lid might remain forever..someone PLEASE tell me whether the scars remain forever..wil sleep better knowing it..

  • @srivatsan1985 they will remain they are scars...

  • @srivatsan1985 How is lack of sleep related to styes? My doctor said styes are caused by build up of trapped oils on the follicles and eyelid folds. You also aren't supposed to rub eyes.

  • @jeffhanson1 Don't know how, but sleep deprivation can cause a stye

  • eugh xD I had it done yesterday but didn't imagine that they had done that xD I actually doesn't hurt AT ALL.you just feel when they pull your eyelit backwards. it so much scarier seeing it here xD

  • this is disgusting... my husband had this done yesterday

  • SCARED SHITLESS SCARED SHITLESS. I have this in 2 hours

  • i would really like to throw up right now

  • OMG, I have this surgery scheduled for the end of the month and I almost passed out just watching...can't imagine having it done! OMG!!!!

  • lol d.w! when i got the letter confirmning my apointment i watcher this video. bug mistake, i scared myself for nothing- almost fainted. srsly- i felt more bad for the doctor. the wrost part is like only the injections. nothing ot wrory abnout at all

  • I nearly back out at the last minute but went thru with it. its easy. easier than the dentist. trust me

  • This video is making my eyes watery.

  • OMG 1:17

  • @kaykayfbaby1 lol u watched the whole thing

  • I don't want one of those.

  • that is not what they did to me and IT HURT LIKE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i've been fighting these for years back and fourth. They don't come often but when they do i have been able to get rid of them without surgery if not serious. You have to use warm compress and scrub your eyes out with baby shampoo. These are not pleasant to deal with at all as they press agaist your eyeball. It makes it look like you were in a fight..

  • my grandmaw has those lol

  • Ouch!

  • i got mine done a couple weeks ago. You really dont feel anything.

  • does ir scar? And how long did you have it before you got surgery. I have had one for two weeks now

  • i've had my Chalazion for about a year!

  • Ok, im just wondering if it leaves any damage. Im a little worried because its on my lower lid and is very obvious

  • Depends on the shape, size and if you feel any pain or discomfort. Chalazions are supposed to burst and release the infection / clogged oil by itself but make sure that you don't physically cause any damage to it because it is similiar to having a spot or acne on the eyelid so don't squeeze or touch it too often. If it increases in size and pain then visit yoru doctor more often.

Chalazion is infected oil gland. In terms of damage, the affected oil gland may not work properly but it is minor.

  • My chalazion on left lower eyelid was large and severe and had to be operated on the front and not underneath the eyelid which is the common technique for surgeons. Best thing is to keep visiting a trusted GP who can refer you to an eye specilaist at your local hospital. I waited for ages because I didn't take action from the start. don't make the same mistake I did. Get advice from them. Chalazions are hard to get rid of, surgery will be an option if it is still troubling you after 4-8 weeks.

  • Thanks for your response shahidshahukh Ive just made enqiries and i am going to pay for surgery. Mine is on the lower left lid. i am worried about having to have an external operation because it seems to be quite far down.

  • It's good that you have taken action because I know how you must be feeling. I was frustrated with my GP until I got referred.

I asked same question and got told that external operation is a last resort because they can treat most chalazions through underneath the eyelid. I guess if it is more than 1cm big in depth and width then it would be difficult to clamp the bottom eyelid over to operate.

Talk your concerns through with your doc or surgeon about the external operation if it comes to that.

  • Hi thanks. Ive got double vision now because its pushing against my eyeball, so they have to act.

  • Oh have you, I had the same problem that feeling is so annoying. They should do an eye test before your operation is carried out because if you have eyesight trouble it is more likely you will be dealt with quickly so yeah just keep at 'em! And try not to get too stressed over it, things should be back to normal soon :)

  • I had this done to my left lower eye, they put anesthestic eye drops to numb the eye and surrounding areas but the clamp felt very uncomfortable. This was a large chalazion that occured a few years ago in the summer months because my eyelid oil gland became blocked and swelled gradually. I was placed on amoxcilyn antibiotics prior to the op for 4-6 weeks which didn't do much. I was relieved to finally have it done, but you can get a few more when infection spreads.

  • Hi shahidshahrukh mines on my lower left too. it more awkward on the bottom. ive never had anything like this in my life. im 34 and wondering how the heck i got this.

  • that must blow

  • Oh my

i have to get that done

can u not get a shot?

    shots hurt

  • shots do not hurt they only hurt if you let yourself think that they hurt the only part tat might ache is if the needle goes to far in or it hit muscle and hurts after

  • I'm getting mine done Tuesday afternoon. Will it stay swelled long? I have school the next day, can I go? Will I look bad??

  • Yes it will swell very long

  • I just had this done a few days ago... Looks a lot worse than it actually feels. The worst part is the shot, oucchh! After that just a bit of swelling. I recommend doing hot compresses all the time to make sure it goes down... Good luck i would recommend not watching this before but after lol.

  • How long does the swelling take to go away ? Haha I made the mistake of watching this before the operation, big mistake ! =]

  • Very interesting! I just had this procedure done today and I was wondering what it looked like. Thanks for posting this.

  • shit dude

  • He was concious?!

Aww, i'd hate to be that dude...

    Why do they do this?

  • :( im probably going to be getting this done next week. i have a few questions, though. how much will it swell after the procedure? how long will it take for the swelling to go down? and how long after am i not SUPPOST to wear eye makeup?

i really need answers for this. please message me!

  • how did it go? could up please tell me alot of stuff about it?

  • heres how it went. since i had the one under my eye right by my tear duct lanced, it was done on top of the lid instead of under it. so they gave me 2 shots (not gonna lie, those HURT) and then my eye went numb. then they had a bright light over me and i could feel a sort of pressure of them doing things, but no pain at all. it might have taken...10-15 min?? after that i got a little cloth to put over it. it bruised a bit, and swelled for like 3 days (not too bad). message me for other question

  • thanx for the kind words <3

i think i need to go to the doctor to check out mine. i have a bump along both eyes lash lines, where i would apply eyeliner on my top lids. i've stopped eye makeup, i've even gone to the doctor once and i got a cream which helped slightly but i still have an indentation along my eyeliner area. sometimes it's flat but other times it swells. i'm not sure if this is chalazion, stye, or something else? i think i need to see eye doctor instead of my gp

  • have you tryed using differant eye makup? ... and im not sure. i always get chalazions and styes confused. if you go to the doctor, it will most likely be removed. good luck :D

  • hah yess, it does get pretty confusing, it's even more annoying because most ppl, including my gp, say they can not see the bump but i can see it pretty clearly!

and i did switch from revlon products to mac and shiseido (expensive change! lol) but i didn't see improvement, and i've tried warm compresses to a degree as well, it just seems that it keeps coming back up. i would think it would be allergies maybe, but the line is in exact shape i draw eyeliner (from thin to thick)

  • I had mine done today and the swelling is almost completely gone already - it's just bruising now. I swells a hell of a lot, if you can take big sunglasses in to hide your eye in the hour you late spend in the hospital, do it! No eye makeup for about 2 weeks to be on the safe side.

  • cool thanks, ive got to have this done in a couple of weeks. does it really only take a couple of minutes?

  • It took 10-20 minutes when i had it.

But it's better , when u dont move your eyes for 24hours.

After my Chalazion Surgery my eyeball got hurt, because i moved it to often.

  • looks like a pretty quick procedure to me.

    Is there much swelling afterwards?

  • Usually, there's not much swelling. People look good after a week.

  • why wasnt the eye stiched up afterwards?

  • The incisions/cuts are not deep enough and placed in an area without much tension. No sutures are needed! In current cataract surgery techniques, sutures not needed too!

  • i would be laughing if the doctor coughed or sneezed during the incision

  • This is why doctors wear masks. We can cough and sneeze all we want to in the mask!

  • I cant stop watching these videos :( NOooOO HELP MEE!

  • u a doctor?

  • omg, sick!
