  • i have a quattro type tt with the same motor i advice you to install the hks dump valve for the turbo

  • @MegaLebanese

NEVER!!!!! YOU WILL RUIN THE TURBO!

  • @mantviux why is it so bad for turbo? can you explain? thank, you.

  • @dragonvlv blow off valves are not made to be run with our cars (audis and vw's) or should i say our carsa are not made to run with blow offs.

Since the diverter valve, returns the air that it let out of the turbo back to the turbo, therefore making the the turbo have less lag. When the hose is pluged up (to run blow off valve) there is no where to release the air, so it has to go back to the turbo making it more laggy. its hard to explain, youd be better off reading about it ;)

  • @dragonvlv

And i have owned Audi TT for the past 4 years, im a big fan of audis and vw's check out vwvortex dot com youll find lots of answers and interesting things ;) HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

  • nice

  • - Stage 2 Spec Clutch and Aluminum Flywheel

with the lighter flywheel you definitely will pull faster

now all you need is a long WIDE HWY to test it :)

  • - Full 3" Turbo back with Miltek Exhaust.

combined with a bigger free flowing pipe you will definitely feel the difference

    - K&N Air Filter

    - Forge Turbo Intake Tube

you need this because the stock one will collapse because of the suction.

    - Diesel Geek Sigma 6 short shifter

  • I maxxed out my TT at 240kph in Seattle.. I wish I had my gopro hd camera then....

I had my old 180hp TT and did the exact same thing I got to 240 but it took longer...

its a 225hp TT with these Upgrades:

    - Revo Stage 2 Chip Upgrade

The Revo takes away the Governor limitation + Raises your HP to 260 your Torque to 282 and your PSI to 21-22psi

  • Oh ok thanks and another question. When I drive my tt it hits 23 lbs of boost on the boost gauge idk what the guy before me did to it. And also when I get in high RPMs the boost lowers down and keeps lowering till redline is it suppose to reduce boost on higher rpm?? I would appreciate ur help thanks

  • @Manunit3 i realise this post is rather old, but if you're still wondering...

if ur boosting 23 lb's I would assume the previous owner got it chipped. and yes, your boost should be tapering off at redline. this is because the turbo is small and is out of its efficiency range at high rpm's so it doesn't flow as much.

  • Does anyone knw how much boost the stock Audi tt turbo and engine can handle before blowing up the engine. Thank you plz!

  • at 24 psi the turbo is maxed out , most vw/audi 1.8t guys run 22psi ..

as far as the engine. STOCK the engine can with stand 300-320hp. switch out the piston rods and bearings .( and a BIg Turbo) the engine can handle 500+hp. . everything on the TT 1.8 is forged

  • @lennyauditt is it true that TT internals are already forged?

  • @Somebodynowhere0 yes. but again if u have either 180 or 225 TT... the internals will max at 300 area . leaving a 1.8T engine stock. they are rather strong.

  • @lennyauditt are all the Quattros 225s? or can those be the 180 as well?

  • @Somebodynowhere0 both 225 and 180's can be quattros , but only the 180 can be fwd.

  • @lennyauditt ahh alright thanks I'm going to possibly trade for a 1.8t quattro and the owner doens't seem to know much about his car..I guess I'll find out this weekend

  • i believe its 10lbs for the 180hp and 11lbs for the 225hp with the slightly bigger turbo.. not sure tho

  • id like to add that a fwd CAN beat a quattro , fwd's can get some really good grip,(if u know how to drive) not only do quattro's loose power but they are also heavier

  • 180 can beat quattro

  • Without mods hell no..

I do it every times a one piped fuck thinks he's the shit in a wasted Audi TT.

    Believe me.. I know...

  • the quattro takes away about 20% of the power..

  • And gives back grip grip grip.

And the quattro turn itself of above 110 km/h and comes back on "if you need it"

So, on the first run it's faster with grip and second of all, I drove an front wheel drive audi tt (sport car, real ones are NEVER fwd) And the thing needed 5 meters in wide open space to realy come off his toes..

    SUCKS!
