I cannot believe they released Shelton and Mickie. Mickie probably had reasons for getting released, but I don't know why Shelton got released. WWE was holding him back if you ask me. He has TNA written all over him. Shelton really could have been something in WWE, but WWE just doesn't see some talent that other people see.
This was a blessing in disguise for Benjamin. When was the last time this guy was relevant? You'd have to go all the way back to Team Angle IMO, at least that's the last time I cared about him.
I was never sure if it was just him, or the WWE writing that never got him over, but now he has the chance to re-ignite his career in the indies, and hopefully make one last run in TNA in a year or two. That's right, not now, there's no room for him. Wait till TNA gets more TV time.

Shelton was always criminally underused. They never took advantage of the couple decent fueds he actually had that mattered. That Jericho feud he had back in '04 was very good and then he had that awesome match against HBK in '05 that they never took advantage of. I always felt that if they had ran an angle with him and Charlie Haas and got him over as an effective heel, then matched him up in a long fued with either Jericho or HBK, the fans would have bought into him.

dont worry about mickie james, im sure tna will pick her up, sheltons future is a little more bleak, the rest should've happened months ago, well funaki has a relationship with wwe, hes been with them for well over 10 years, although im optimistic about TNA picking up mickie james up, im still pretty pissed that shes gone, shes a 6 time champion, and has been with the company for about 5 years or more, and im kiinda pissed about shelton, i thought he wouldve been a good opponent for drew.

But why release a very valid and capable performer who could actually wrestle? I don't see the logic. I cannot believe they released Shelton and Mickie. Mickie probably had reasons for getting released, but I don't know why Shelton got released. WWE was holding him back if you ask me. He has TNA written all over him. Shelton really could have been something in WWE, but WWE just doesn't see some talent that other people see.

This was a blessing in disguise for Benjamin. When was the last time this guy was relevant? You'd have to go all the way back to Team Angle IMO, at least that's the last time I cared about him.
I was never sure if it was just him, or the WWE writing that never got him over, but now he has the chance to re-ignite his career in the indies, and hopefully make one last run in TNA in a year or two. That's right, not now, there's no room for him. Wait till TNA gets more TV time.

Shelton was always criminally underused. They never took advantage of the couple decent fueds he actually had that mattered. That Jericho feud he had back in '04 was very good and then he had that awesome match against HBK in '05 that they never took advantage of. I always felt that if they had ran an angle with him and Charlie Haas and got him over as an effective heel, then matched him up in a long fued with either Jericho or HBK, the fans would have bought into him.

Imo the women's divison is a joke raw has no talented divas just gail kim, and eve is improving the rest are not so good in ring. I really think in the next year tna will have mickie and katie lea and jillian soon.

@MrDivalover1 the women's division on SmackDown sure is no joke. Before Mickie James was gone they had: Mickie, Beth, Michelle McCool, Serena, Nathalya. thats five very good wrestlers all of them. Layla and Tiffany are better than most women on RAW.. That crop of divas on SmackDown is perhaps one of better moments in WWE's history of the women'sdivision so claiming ints an entire joke is a bit far-fetched.. VERY few momens in history has WWE had so many solid female wrestlers on one show.
