I just watched this. Very good movie. A word of advice, don't bother reading reviews by the media because they are complete morons. I couldn't believe Rotten Tomatoes gave this really bad reviews. If your a big sci-fi and technology fan, you will like it. It's not a perfect movie, but hey it's entertainment.

The difference of course is that you aren't in a virtual world. You control a robot and feel what they feel. You can also choose what your robot will look like.

Plus, all humanity is aware of this and interacts with one another through surrogates. And you can't die if your surrogate dies (maybe. The trailer implied it's possible).

Speaking from experience, trailers don't ALWAYS show the true nature of the movie itself. Sometimes the movie is better than the trailer, and other times you'd much rather watch the trailer than the movie itself.
