hi. do you lvl now when its v16?. and i have some real prob with my ranger. i cant tank more than like 15mobs in same lvl in azzy. im 91 with +6 okas and lusaka bow my build is 60 sta xxx dex. i got a rm spamming heal and i spamm pills ad food but i keep dieing. plz help me. what shall i do
@DeadlyPlague1625 It's the only thing, other than crossline, that is worth putting in the action slot. At this time I didn't have crossline maxed, so I just put junk arrow in there.

@DeadlyPlague1625 It all depends what gear he has over you. As long as you feel comfortable with the damage you are doing, don't compare it to other peoples.
One thing I want to know before I can answer exactly what gear changes you could use is, are you 1v1 or aoe?
@BombBug Well after I posted on youtube I imideatly went on flyff and started buying awakes, and better gear. None to say the least that I'm ok with the gear even though I dont have my 7% atk card yet (I will get one though), and my lgb +10 with an open slot, I also bought a restat because after looking at my stats it seems I f-ed up and put some pnts in Int (don't know how that happened 0.o). Also I'm a 1v1, but I'm starting to like Aoe, but I don't know what I would need to make it better.

For the first few levels at 15 I would recommend adding Sta. Once it gets too the point you want, be it 30 or 60, then you add Dex.
By doing that, it lets you get through the Mars Mines without having to worry about the agros too much. Also, as you level you will see a clear increase in damage. It feels just a bit quicker as you level that way, because you wont be moving up to monsters that take longer to kill, you will just be moving up monsters.
You dont ever need to add more than 60 Sta. Going past that means a very minimal increase in health and defense, and it damages your attack and block rate a little bit.
If youve got a ton of money to spend on great gear, you can go pure Dex.
If youve got a medium amount of money, go for between 30-45 Sta, rest dex.
If your pretty poor, go for 45-60 dex.
Personally, I added it until it felt just right for me. 46 Sta is mine!

I would go with carrierbombs if you soloing, mushpoies if you have an fs, and the tower if you have an fs but the mushpoies are really full of people on each server. Your at a hard point right now, so whatever you fight will be hard unless you have a +8 oska set. For now, stick with Mushpoies.
Well, right now you are at the hardest point for rangers. 7-10 at a time isnt really that bad, as long as you keep aoeing 7-10 very quickly. We arent like AoE Rms, who aoe a ton of monsters but very very slowly. We are the ones who aoe a few very very quickly. So as a ranger at your level, you need to aoe as many as you can, but focus on doing it quickly. Set up your next aoe by running next to a spawn before killing your group. Then as soon as you finish killing, get another group.
It will be slow-ish, but its not all that bad. At my level I get .01% per kill in a contri party with a partner, at your level Im thinking your getting at least .5% per aoe. Even that slowly you will only need to do it 200 times to level up, and thats around three hours.
But considering flyff is ONLY grinding and nothing else, three hours isnt a big deal.
Which set is better for a ranger to 1v1/pvp a cruiser set or the asren set, asren has more def which would b good for gianting??? and gbow or lgbow, ik a lot of ppl think rangers suck at 1v1 but i love aoe and 1v1/pvp thats y i have 2 sets, oska+8 and cruiser+3 im just contemplating asren
For 1v1, if your using a gbow, try using the cruiser. It will do better dps-wise than an Asren set. For gianting, Asren might be better for defense and slight kill speed boost, but I prefer to use my leveling armor. It had more defense and hp and other stats that are useful, so even though I wont kill it as fast, it will be safe instead of stupid.
For pvp.... Just use your leveling set. You get the hp, the defense, the other bonuses and such. Your damage will mainly come from Arrow Rain, Fire Arrow, and most important Auto Shot. So you wont be shooting normal arrows, thus not using cruiser or asren's bonuses.
Once you get to your 105 set, make sure its upgraded really nicely(+8/16% attack) and with great awakens. Keep working on the awakens nonstop.
As you awaken ranerz parts, you will find stats for aoe and for 1v1. Upgrade the AoE ones first, because they help you level which is good for pvp. Once youve got a nice aoe set, start upgrading the 1v1 parts. That will be your 1v1 set for life, at least until you get a bloody set, which is rare to get.
If you can afford it, a nice cheap Gbow. All the rest can be npc gear. Other options are Stam Rings+5 or +6, Mental Necklace+15/Gore Necklace+6, or Plugs+9. The plugs are very good, and you will use them for a long time. The gbow will only last you till level 75, but you can resell it quickly so theres no loss involved.
Max out Junk Arrow and spam that on the monsters, it delivers the best damage.
Level on monsters 3-5 levels above you for now, any higher wouldnt be worth it.
When you get to level 50, just because you have the aoe skill doesnt mean you show aoe. You get Arrow Rain then, the level 50 AoE skill. Problem is, it has a long cooldown and low-ish damage. Its not worth aoeing then.
Keep leveling then at 60 when your a ranger, start pwning ^^
but its not full sta about 113 sta but its sturggeling to make an AOE attack because all the attacks are not block but i manage to get 94 dex :D does with my equip but my current dex is 45 -.- c
That build should work fine, just keep adding sta until maybe 90 or so, in which case your equips will usually be able to cover your tanking and you can focus on damage.
I had some questions about Aoe rangers. I am currently level 70 and can Aoe about 15-20 Yettis depending on the FS. I was wondering if I should buy plugs +9 because im only using +3s atm. My build is 50 sta(62 with rings) and the rest is dex. Im also using a Gbow +8 Awakened 350hp. Sorry if this was too big a question :S

That ones pretty simple though. You will be using plugs until you get your raze/ranerz set or until youve got amazing tankage. So its worth getting +9 plugs, you will have a good use for them. If its too much money to spend the 200m to get them, then make a level 50 pure int mage and wand the Rockepellers for a couple hours.

I have a question. If your bow is +8 fire, when fighting those monsters wiht element fire. WOnt it do less dmg? Or is that only if thats weaker element. And also, if you element your bow to the specific aoe spell does it make stronger?
Such as +8 fire, more fire arrow dmg. But weaken ice arrow?
The only AoE skill of ours that is elemented is the DoT part of Flame Arrow, thus, adding fire would be the only thing you would need. I think it does decrease the DoT on water mobs(fire mobs is fine), but only them so +8 fire on your perm bow is the way to go as it will help you for every other monster.

It depends on what you want.
The two stats rangers need are Dex and Sta.

Use an npc set or the cw set until your level 75, then switch over to an Oska set. At 105, unless you reduce it, switch to a Ranerz set.
The oska set should be pierced with defense cards. Its awakenings can range from health, defense, sta, dex, mp, and speed.
The ranerz set should be pierced with attack. Its awakenings can range from sta, dex, att, speed, crit, and adoch.
Prices vary depending on server and how good the set is :S
My gear is in the description I think, check it there.

Make sure to aoe very close to your level. Dont go more than 3 levels above you.
Element your suit properly. It helps a bit. Electric>Water>Fire>Wind>Earth>Electric
Level up. At level 70 you wont have a very good block rate, especially with 60 sta. Just keep grinding, it gets better :P

You have a few options.
AoE tons of Carrierbombs.
AoE in Azria.
AoE in the Tower.
AoE a few Mushpoie,
I would go with carrierbombs if you soloing, mushpoies if you have an fs, and the tower if you have an fs but the mushpoies are really full of people on each server. Your at a hard point right now, so whatever you fight will be hard unless you have a +8 oska set. For now, stick with Mushpoies.

Restart the char though, you will find it easier the next time round and with a lot less problems. both now and in the future.

You will usually see Bombbug where giants are, or sometimes in the arena when im sick of getting killed without being able to kill high hp chars.

Well, if you would check the forums you could see all of that info.
But since you asked anyway:
Add as much sta as you feel you need up to 60 sta. I went with 46 and it works great, some going for 30, some for 60.
All the rest of the points go into Dex.
As for attack speed, you raise it by getting more dex. Every once in a while it adds a point to your attack speed, but it depends on your class.
