  • Boris you are a legend

  • he talks so much..how about massaging. this is terrible

  • i dont think that any cream, could be better of natural warm virgin oil..

  • Are you referring to olive oil? I have heard of it being used for massage but I like to put on salad for monounsaturates or also very stable for cooking.

  • Boris, I have subscribed to your video sna denjoy everyone of them, what is the cream you continue to get from the small jar, is it better then an oil?

  • Dear John40ish.

sorry for delay with replay.Lubrication play very little role in in quality of massage procedure. Of course exemption is different cream and lotion that sticks to your hand and bothering to smooth movement. Having say it there is a lot of different body cream that can benefit skin. I know about it very little and personally use non-allergy oils, creams and lotions. Some clients requesting different type of lubrication or even delivering their owns.

    Best wishes.

  • the "Distortions" of her foot are because she is having a Massage done to her Leg. Hence, the reason he asks her to relax a couple of times..some people have overly sensitive tickle sensations.

  • Thanks! That's been a physical annoyance for some time now. I'll give it a shot.

  • All your Video's are GREAT and Educative......YOUR The BEST!

  • dear boris,

how much pressure do you usually use? i'm wondering because i've always been told the deeper you go the slower you go. i haven't really seen any slow strokes in your videos and i'm just curious to know just how pressure it is you are using. Thanks by the way your vidoes are great very helpful and informative

  • Dear gabag007.

Any clinical massage should include deep tissue mobilization. having said this be aware of that strong massage could be very superficial in case If strong pressure will awake protective muscular spasm. however when we performing massage on large person slowly we utilize forearm, knuckles est. for samples view my youtube clips" deep tissue" and" large man". would recommend to purchase my DVD#12. for a details please visit my website.

    Best wishes.

  • Caro Boris, seu trabalho é excelente, PARABÉNS !!!

  • Muchas gracias por comentarios agradables. Felicidades, Boris

  • this would be good for me being a bodybuilder and my muscles are constantly sore

  • Dear fabien82.

absolutely. I would recommend Post- event rehabilitative massage. little bit different techniques directed to a elimination of over training side effects, such as muscular higher resting tone, management of microscopic scar tissue formation, accumulation of tension in fascia and other connective tissues.

    Best wishes.

    Boris

  • search youtube for "athletic massage" they are very... vigorous, and feel great after a workout. leaves you feeling much less sore

  • Hi Boris,

I always use knee bolster and ankle bolster for maximum comfort for my clients. Shall I remove them towards end of massage for venous blood? I would prefer to leave them, not to disturb my people.

    Thank You Sir.

  • Dear fretfun.

when you performing frontal/anterior leg massage I wouldn't place bolsters. only in cases if client' knee developed contracture, when she/he laying on back, you should fulfil excessive distance by placing under knee folded towel. however highly recommend to place bolster under lower legs when client laying on stomach. when frontal/anterior leg massage down and you continue on a chest and arms, bolsters can be placed under knees. hope I was helpful.

    Best wishes.

    Boris

  • Boris, this is a great video. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

One of the reasons to start on the left side of the body is because it´s conected with the right side of the brain- the emotional side. So, it´s possible that you start to send signals to that side of the brain to put people in a more emotionally relaxed state. That sets the mood for the rest of the massage. Relaxing the right brain, relaxes the emotions (heart). Just a thought!

    Best Wishes

  • DearCometxx1.

Thank you for appreciating my work as well for"great video" opinion.your explanation is logical but scientific experiment( when patients connected to EEG, blood dynamic equipment that reflecting index of peripheral vascular resistance, heart work and more) didn't reflect advantage to start from the left side. Best wishes.

    Boris

  • Dear KRSWolf32.

Thank you very much for"phenomenal work ". feet and a especially plantar surface couldn be very sensitive to touch. solution isto exclude extra light touch.please keep in mind that many of us experiencing extra sensitivity due to psychological aspects. for example people who at childhood where repeatedly tickled by other kids. you have to try talk them out of this "trauma" by explaining the importance of feet massage at the time to demonstrate nolight touch.BestBoris

  • ever since ive been watching these video's.. ive learned that a massage can help your body alot.

NICE JOB!! Thanks for posting these videos!

  • If that's the way it speaks... then what is the problem? You have no obligation to watch this video if you find that you struggle to understand it. That's for sure not a perfect pronunciation, but it's perfectly fine by me.

  • I watched your videos today, and as a student ( I graduate in febuary from a massage therapy program) I found it very interesting. Your style is a bit different from what I am being taught, and it gave me some new insights.

I do have a question, however- in class, we are taught to begin our massage on the right side- in your leg video, you say the left foot- can you explain your position to me?

thank you for your time, and for the great videos.

  • Dear hamiltonmassage.

Congratulations. I can tell you that you choose a great occupation. As you know Chinese medicine built on principles of the elimination of energy blokes as well "chi" distribution. Russians scientist through research found explanation why to star procedure by toes massage. why from left side is not clear. given to the fact that Chinese methods in use for 5000 years I start from left side and do not hesitate just accept the rules. Best regards. Boris

  • Hi. We were taught it doesn't matter what side of the patient you start, but should be consistent with starting on that side always, whether in the legs or arms, prone or supine. I prefer the left because it is generally accepted as the "heart" side. Good luck.

  • greeet

  • its very nice! it helps...thanks..

  • Treating the legs is very important, they are our blessed locomotion.
